24.01.2022 Weve exposed this problem Time and Time again. Take note of your Diesel 4WDs Diesel Fuel filter hand primer head. In this instance a Toyota. The Wrong fuel fi...lter (on right - no recess) was installed. This leads to fuel flow restriction issues. The Correct filter (to match this filter head) is seen on the left with Deep recess. This allows plenty of fuel flow through the filter set up. Matching the Correct filter is very important for fuel flow. 05.01.2022 So glad the South Australian government took the early and hard decision for a tight lockdown. It shows a government was focused on protecting its individual population before financial issues which is a rare thing in today’s governance. Protecting individuals is a major protection for business in the longer term.

03.01.2022 HAVE YOU TRIED VKS-737 ST. MARYS BASE LATELY? We have a new mast and a new antenna system installed at St. Marys Base. Results have been extremely encouraging, ...with good contacts as far away as Northern Queensland on Channel TWO and equally good quality reports over shorter distances on Channel ONE. St. Marys Base covers the Victorian and New South Wales High Countries extremely well on Channel ONE. Contacts from places like Kangaroo Island are also excellent on both Channel ONE and Channel TWO. The low frequencies are good for around Tasmania although travellers in the Apple Isle can make contact through mainland bases such as Stawell and Adelaide. St. Marys is on air each evening. Check your Operations Manual Summer Schedule for times. Give the base a call and say hello. Don't forget also that we continue to listen on our other bases during this Summer. Not travelling? Turn on your radio and call in. Good time to give your radio a check out. Our Operators love to have someone to talk with so make contact and let us know how you're travelling (or not). 01.01.2022 Check out this before and after shot of a now sealed section of the Plenty Highway! The Outback Highway Development Council Inc. (OHDC) is working towards th...e Outback Way being fully sealed from Laverton in WA across the NT and through to Winton in QLD. The OHDC began in 1997 and is expecting the 2700km of road to be fully sealed by 2026. This is thanks to the hard work of many people as well as collaboration and funding between the 5 Local Governments, 3 State and Territory governments and the Federal Government. The Annual General Meeting for the OHDC incorporated association is on 18th September 2020. This is chance for board members and stakeholders to continue working towards the aims of the organisation. Due to COVID restrictions and border closures, this year the AGM will take place via a virtual meeting link.
