13.01.2022 Last week BCMQ took delivery of a new Mercedes Prime Mover, to assist in the on time, every time delivery of our fleet of Milling Machines and Material Transfer Vehicles. Equipped with back to base GPS monitoring we can locate our float at any time and accurately forecast delivery times for our customers.

12.01.2022 Last Friday we celebrated another milestone here at Base Course Management Qld. Ben Nicol became the latest team member to clock up 10 years of loyal service. 10 Years is a great achievement and very much appreciated by all here at BCMQ, well done Ben.

12.01.2022 On Tuesday night BCMQ ran a trial of the new W200F mill assist system for Downer at Victoria Point. Several milling patterns were achieved simply by adjusting the mill assist settings without slowing the milling machine speed or changing the milling drum. Sand Tests were performed and the results were comparable with fine mill pattern results. The W200F is fitted with the most advanced dust suppression system in Australia. Several settings allow the operators to spray water ...only where needed thus reducing the dust and significantly reducing the wet pavement behind the machine. A quick sweep with the broom and the pavement was dry without the need for extra costly equipment in the clean up process. The dust vacuum system has also been upgraded from previous models almost eliminating dust. These systems are only available on the "F Series" Wirtgen Mills, and BCMQ is once again leading the way with the introduction of new technology in Australia. See more
