16.01.2022 When girthing up the horse it is important not to over tighten it. An over-tightened girth may pinch and bruise the muscles - in particular the pectorals. trape...zius, serratus ventralis muscles and latissimus dorsi (see red areas in diagram bleow). An over tightened girth may also cause bruising of the ribs and the intercostal muscles between the ribs. It will also cause the saddle to put more pressure on the back muscles. See more

02.01.2022 BATHURST WORKING EQUITATION CLINIC . After a huge storm ,we almost moved to an indoor for the clinic. On Saturday morning there was one big puddle left in the m...iddle of the outdoor, what a great opportunity to work with a water obstacle. We had all shapes and sizes from lusitanos to small ponies, both adults and children. This certainly is a sport suitable to everyone. We had a very interested group of participants from experienced working equitation riders to first timers. What a great group of horse lovers all about honoring the horse. Thank you all for the privilege of sharing your day. See more

02.01.2022 Harvey was surrendered to us as an unhandled colt still on his fairly wild unhandled mum. He has been spending time with an amazing friend of ours near Young in... NSW being handled and will soon be ready for rehoming. We would love to see him rehomed locally so he doesnt have to travel so far. So we are just putting the feelers out to see if anyone might be keen to talk about him before we transport him up to the Hunter for more handling and rehoming. Please PM us See more
