23.01.2022 We try and photograph all the old trees. Some days you don’t get there quick enough. This was Colquhuon forest that didn't burn last summer. This is Mississipi ...Creek catchment that becomes the North Arm at Lakes Entrance. The trees are gone and the springs are ruined. Forest surveys recorded one Greater Glider, Lace monitor, Southern Boobook, rare Blue-crowned Stringybark and other wondrous things. The echidna didn't make it. The Colquhuon forest is a patchwork of logging coupes. Past present future. #Vicforest. Your taxes
