25.01.2022 Mel this morning after track work & has managed to keep his rug on & in one piece for a week now. He is really enjoying his pre training with Amy Clint Roberts at Roberts Equine, keep up the great work guys.

21.01.2022 Mel ( Hector the Hero ) finally coming back into work & decided he would finish with a roll in the sand with a bit of grass coming through after the recent rain.

19.01.2022 Tiora looking amazing & really loving her with David VanDyke & training has really agreed with Mel who is home for a short spell the back to work. Big thank you to David & All the team at VanDyke Racing for all the work & care they are putting into these two as they grow & progress on their journey to the racetrack.



19.01.2022 An early morning visit to Tom Button Racing to see the boy Mel ( Hector the Hero ) doing his thing. Now close to 16.3 time for him to fill out & develop into a nice stayer. Thanks to the team at TBR for taking great care if him & Amy Clint Roberts for all their work & sharing the morning with him. Due to Covid 19 we have a few shares in him again, if interested in a lot of fun with an exciting horse & trainer send us a message.

19.01.2022 Mel ( Hector the Hero ) having his first run this prep with Amy Amy Clint Roberts at Roberts Equine Services, he will have 3 weeks on the track there before back to Tom Button & his team to get back to racing. He really strode along nicely for Clint this morning.

18.01.2022 The final 3 mares home from Aquis Farm. Ajrass in foal to Kiss and Make Up, Up the Tempo in foal to Spill the Beans & fingers crossed Purfectress to Domesday. A massive thank you to Paul Knight & the whole Aquis team for looking after our team again this season.

17.01.2022 Purfectress, Black Stilettos ,Up the Tempo & Ajrass are clean & ready for their trips to Aquis Farm tomorrow & their dates with Domesday, Spill the Beans x 2 & Kiss and Make Up. After the disappointment of 2 mares slipping their foals late in their pregnancy we are looking forward to this season & big thanks to Paul Knight & the team at Aquis for getting all 4 mares into their perfect matches again this year.

17.01.2022 Huge thanks to Tommy Button at Tom Button Racing for taking great care of Mel & getting him to his first race, where he showed he wants more ground & develop into a nice stayer. Great to have him home, we will feed him up over the next 6 weeks & get him back for the distance races in the spring.

14.01.2022 Got to spend the morning with Paul Knight, Mark Wooldridge & the Aquis team checking out the stallions including the gentleman who is Domesday, Kiss and Make Up & the very much changed Kobyashi who looks to be really enjoying life at Aquis Farm. Thanks so much guys was great to see them one in one again & we look forward to another exciting breeding season with the whole Aquis Team.

13.01.2022 Tiora Belle about to head home from the care of John Robbins are a successful first full prep with David & the team at VanDyke Racing. The hard bit starts now with trying to get weight on her & keep it on. She does look awesome after all her hard work at the track.

13.01.2022 Been a long time in the making but Hector the Hero (aka Mel ) makes his debut tomorrow, while this race is a bit short for him we hope he gets through safe & learns from the race. 13.01.2022 Mel got his first start out of the way tonight. He was good in the mounting yard & barriers. He got squeezed out at the start & got caught on the heels of two others before hitting the line nicely. Time for a spell & get him ready for a race over some ground,he showed good staying prospects at first try.

13.01.2022 At 7.15 this morning Up the Tempo foaled this cracking Spill the Beans filly we call Pebbles.A huge thanks to our awesome friends Amy Clint Roberts for leading a hand to bring the big girl into the world. The girls could not wait to get up & walking around, won’t be long & she will be racing BamBam around the paddocks.

12.01.2022 Tiora has been enjoying herself, gaining weight again & looking really well. Hopefully she will be able to get back to work & show her best.

12.01.2022 After a very sad week where we lost not only our great mate in Troy Crane we lost our Kiss and Make Up foal a long way out from being born. We took the rug off Marni our Domesday mare & she looks amazing & in foal to Aquis Farm legend Spill the Beans. We are very excited for this foal.

09.01.2022 Very proud of our boy (Mel) Hector the Hero who in a big field of 15 finished off well & into 6th place at a short 1200 mtr race today. Both Trainer & jockey agree that he needs more ground & should be a fair dinkum miler. Big thanks to the team at TBR racing ( Tommy Button ) & Mark Du Pleussis for getting him around safely.

09.01.2022 Our Domesday mare Black Stilettos came home today after her trip to Aquis Farm & is in foal to the late Spill the Beans, sure to be a cracking foal. Thanks to Paul Knight & the Aquis team for taking great care of her.

08.01.2022 Absolute cracking filly by Kiss and Make Up Lot 537 for Aquis Farm at this weeks Magic Millions Sales. With any luck the foaling season we hope to have our own Kiss and Make Up foal on the ground. Thanks Nick & Paul for showing us sone of your Aquis Yearlings today.

08.01.2022 Tiora coming in after a nice 850 mtr gallop this morning. Home tomorrow for a short spell then serious work, she is learning all the time.

07.01.2022 Our Domesday mare Marni in foal to Spill the Beans due in 3 weeks is really getting big now. We are very excited & looking forward to having some of the last crop of Spill the Beans who is doing awesome on the track & producing great winners.

07.01.2022 A week on & our Whittington filly Ruby is starting to unfold nicely, Lets hope the triple Secretariat Cross proves to work as she grows into a nice horse.

07.01.2022 It has been several years in the making & finally we have an Aquis Farm sired foal on the ground. Our Domesday mare Black Stilettoes ( Marni ) foaled this cracking Colt by Spill the Beans early this morning. A huge thank you to all involved from start to finish Paul Knight & Nick Taylor & the whole team at Aquis Farm , Morton Bay Equine Vets ( Trent ) & our awesome friends Amy Clint Roberts from Roberts Equine.

07.01.2022 Argy gets a date with Whittington today as we look for a very nice foal being a tripple cross to one of the best ever in Secretariat. Thank you to all involved & my great mate Amy Clint Roberts.

07.01.2022 Tiora settled right in & Mel having a good look around at John Robbins pretraining for a week before heading to David VanDyke Racing. Both have developed very well & Mel has had a big growth spurt while at TNT Lodge.

01.01.2022 Mel took his next step in learning to be a stayer on Thursday. He had a 7 hour road trip to Rockhampton where he settled well & travelled like a veteran before racing over 1300 mtrs the next day at Yeppoon. Riden by JP Stanley he ran well before being blocked for a run at the 300 to finish 5th. Tom Button racing is now looking for a 1600 mtr race for Mel’s next start.

01.01.2022 A big thank you to Paul Knight & Nick Taylor from Aquis Farm who put on another amazing race day for Derby Day. With the sudden passing of Spill the Beans on Farm I think we all thought a little about him & I know we are very much looking to getting 1 or 2 Beans foals through to term this year.
