02.01.2022 Jill Meehan is absolutley selfless and has devoted herself to introducing people to the joy of musical appreciation. She has brought light into the lives of many people with her Open Mic events. Currently held at the lovely Tuckerberry Hill Berry Farm in Becks Road between St Leonards and Drysdale, every 3rd Sunday starting at Midday, anyone can get up and sing, play or read poetry or simply come and watch. It is a warm, inviting and encouraging event where all are welcome and any level of skill is enjoyed. It makes for a very pleasant afternoon with amazing coffee and great food available from the Cafe. Quite apart from that, Jill is a great song writer and performer with an eye for just causes to feature in her music.
