22.01.2022 We love our shadow play on the walls and this one was caught this morning at the beginning of Friday Mentor Sessions! It is a great class with some experienced artists and a couple of freshies who love experimenting and trying out different mediums and learning technique and hot tips from everyone! Wednesday night and Friday morning are very relaxed casual classes where you can bring work for a critique by Gayle Mason and some help with direction if needed! 19.01.2022 Up close and personal with the new mural at Bellevue Artspace. I have been lucky to find a building with great owners who have supported me and my vision to inject some art and culture, into this spot. The beautiful Mechanics hall has had a facelift at the other end of Helen St. The Vintage Automobile Club is undergoing a reno and across Clayton Street over 400 houses are being built in a beautiful park like setting around a lake. Landscaping by Poste at Guildford. There are two shops either side of me perfect for studios, art supplies, gift shop, but best of all a coffee shop. Yes! 18.01.2022 Shifting Colour Cold Wax Medium with OILS Workshop is coming up soon. You will learn how to make texture, how to make marks, how to move colour and a process and exploration using oils mixed with cold wax that dries overnight allowing for, printing, oil sticks, low odour solvent so you can uncover previous layers, and a heap of new techniques for your tool kit. Gayle Mason personally learnt from the best Rebecca Crowley from USA and has been demonstrating and teaching this workshop for the last 3 years in Perth.
