25.01.2022 This week we celebrate Mothers Day. We say thank you to all the Mums. Tag your Mum below and share with us something you love about your Her.

24.01.2022 Today is R U OK? Day. It’s the national day of action when Australians are reminded that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? if someone in your world is struggling with life’s ups and downs. Who do you need to check in with? https://hubs.ly/H0sZ5_k0

24.01.2022 Nothing can replace the love you have for those you have lost.

23.01.2022 Each year on 29 September, we pause to remember fallen police employees who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Among those being remembered today are Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Josh Prestney and Constable Glen Humphris who were tragically killed in the line of duty on the Eastern Freeway in Kew on 22 April 2020. Their dedicated service to the community is respected, and they will never be forgotten.

23.01.2022 Writing a eulogy for your husband might be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. It’s so hard to know where to begin when you have a lifetime of love and experiences to capture. If you, or someone you know would like help to write a fitting eulogy, we recently prepared a blog you and a free Eulogy Workbook that may help. https://hubs.ly/H0yHtVF0

22.01.2022 Today we join together to pay tribute to and remember those who have served.

18.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day! Today we celebrate all Dads! We also want to take the opportunity to acknowledge those who have lost their Dad and are missing them on this day.

16.01.2022 We have onsite chapels at all Bethel Funerals Branches. We also offer live streaming facilities to ensure everyone; no matter their location, can participate and engage in a funeral service.

16.01.2022 At Bethel Funerals our priority is people; the families that we serve, the deceased in our care, the wider community and our staff who work to care for families in need. With this at the forefront of our mind and advice from the experts on COVID 19, some slight changes will be implemented in the running of funerals. From today, Funerals held in a restricted postcode will be restricted to 10 mourners plus those conducting the funeral. The hotspot postcodes are as follows: 30...38, 3021, 3012, 3042, 3064, 3047, 3060, 3032, 3046, 3055. Mourners that live outside of these postcodes are allowed to travel into these suburbs so long as they are one of the 10 permitted mourners attending the service. As for people that live inside the hot spot postcodes, they are still permitted to travel to funerals in other postcodes outside the restricted areas. For more information regarding the restrictions surrounding hot spot postcodes, please visit: https://hubs.ly/H0s4J970

15.01.2022 Due to the recent update from the Victorian Government we are required to make some changes to Funeral Services as we head into a six week lock down. We are returning to 10 mourners with the addition of funeral staff. We currently have the capacity to stream all services from our Mitcham location and encourage families to take this option to ensure as many people as possible, from wherever they are in the world can still engage in saying farewell to a loved one.

15.01.2022 Our team at Bethel Funerals love hearing your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to write to us. It is always our pleasure to serve you and your family in your time of need.

15.01.2022 We have opportunities to join the Bethel Funerals Team at both our Mitcham & Carrum Downs Locations. 12.01.2022 Angela is a well-loved part of our team and has worked with Bethel for just over 5 years. During her 5 years with us she has been worked as a Funeral director and now works as the Team Leader for our Brisbane branch. As part of her Team Leader role Angela is active in promoting why it’s important to have funerals to various ministry groups and local community groups. When asked what she enjoys about her role and her work with Bethel Funerals Angela said being able to assist... grieving families when they have no idea where to start. Also being able to work for a not for profit Christian funeral company knowing that we can help turn sadness & grief into something that is also positive in the community. Within her role she demonstrates love and compassion to the families she serves by offering every component of a funeral service, so families really know all of their options. Using her creative skills to create unique & personalised services is something she also enjoys greatly. Angela’s go to coffee order is a Skinny latte, double shot! See more

06.01.2022 'What we do for ourselves and what we keep for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and invest into their lives survives our death and leaves a legacy that continues on.' The death of a person brings that person's life to a close, but it is not the end of that person's influence.
