24.01.2022 A VERY IMPRESSIVE NIGHT! Tash, you are one strong lady! We have been prepping for some big lifts and doing major technique work lately together. Tonight was the first bigger lift we did under full control from the leg press! Tash managed a steady 210kgs x 6 reps and had way more room to play around with at full depth. Unfortunately I called it off as it was her 6th lift and at the end of a powerful session after not exercising much recently. So we will readdress this weight later on. Now to move onto barbell squats and seeing what kind of weight we can push out of Tash! Well done again Tash! You're an inspiration to everyone and you determination is admirable. Pushing that weight out still with a smile on your face is wonderful to work with



23.01.2022 After a while off training myself, I have dug down over the last four weeks to focus heavily on my strength and cleaning every single lift up that I do. Today I felt the strength coming back with an easy 90kg squat for 6 reps. It's so good for you to take that step back occasionally, reassess your form, position and mentality to then reach your goals appropriately! Training myself is very different to training my clients! Over the upcoming weeks, I will be posting of my... gains in strength and show what a safe and steady incline of strength can do! Being strong is just as important as improving your cardiovascular health and can help with so much! Throughout my strength training I really identify where my strengths and weaknesses are, where my imbalances are and why I could be having pain where I shouldn't be. 19.01.2022 PBs EVERYWHERE TODAY!! Well done to all my clients this morning! You guys pushed crazy hard today with a lot of learning for some as well! Every single one of you gave more than you thought you had! Both Rebecca and Miranda achieving a steady 120kgs on the leg press for plenty of reps while both saying they couldn't do it before hand! ... Terri (Mum) achieving her first 1RM bench press of 37.5kgs! Almost climbing her bodyweight on her first try! Simone cleaning up her deadlifts achieving an easy 80kgs deadlift today! Both Shayne and Tash were leaning bigger lifts today and how to get the most out of them! Unfortunately I don't have pictures of you guys today as we were just on fire aside from a couple of quick ones of Simone! You guys are awesome and well done for working so hard!



18.01.2022 I'm looking forward to an exciting week here from everyone's training! Most people are starting to settle into their program work and it's all paying off now! I'm loving everyone's work, but some stand out work being done lately includes: Brianna's bench and deadlift number! Both the first time she has done work like this and is hitting a huge 80kgs deadlift x2, and an absolutely massive 47.5kgs bench! We still have squats to go Terri hitting reps 3x6 on her 80kgs d...eadlift and learning how to be patient with her lifts. After assessing her bar path, and slightly adjusting her position, we were able to squeeze out those lifts much better! Simone gaining a greater understanding on her technique with her squats while allowing herself to go lighter. I encourage light weight work if someone is uncomfortable to correct and build bigger future lifts!

17.01.2022 SHOUTOUT TO MEG BETTS! Meg has almost completed her first X10 pack with me while jumping into work that she wasn't comfortable with at all! After loading her onto consistent sessions, program and mobility work, Meg has come out winning on the other side! While we still have work to do, she has smashed her progress so far. Well done! This is a great example of how important consistency and dedication really is! ... I currently am running a few spaces, so if you're looking to change your life and get the results you're wanting, just shoot me a message! These spots will fill up fast!

17.01.2022 BRRRR!! A cold morning today! While it's exciting and definitely a rare sight to see snow around Launceston area, please be smart and careful when thinking about PTs today! If your car is not suited for driving in these conditions or at all you feel unsafe, I completely understand and it will be at no charge to you. Safety of yourself and others is first! If all the boxes are ticked, PTs will be as normal and as scheduled in. Lucky we aren't still in the paddock ...



16.01.2022 Last week we had some huge lifts going on, including Matt here smashing a big 140kgs PB! From someone who doesn't move past around 60kgs, to locking out a steady 140, then working his back downs at 125kgs! Well done! Stay tuned for big things from this bloke

16.01.2022 As you should all know by now, I am currently on holidays and will have PTs running again on the 14th onwards! Please keep your program work running, make sure your posting in your groups if required to do so as I will still be providing feedback online! If your work isn't done, I'll know about it when I get back As always, have a good couple of weeks and I'll see you all soon! Christmas break periods will be posted sometime after I get back for anyone wondering that. In the mean time, enjoy a mean picture of Brianna squeezing a 95kgs dead out for a 4rep PB before nearly passing out yesterday

14.01.2022 Capturing all the hard hitting faces today! I must have been working you guys hard or something? Congratulations on everyone once again for training so hard throughout today so far! Shayne, I feel sorry for whatever steps you have to walk up and down today. After seeing you walk up the gym ones today, I feel tomorrow might be worse ... Terri (Mum) smashing a massive 70kgs deadlift today! (10kg increase from last week) Kristell smashing, also a massive 60kgs for 2 reps for her first time ever! Simone joining the 100kgs club on her deadlifts for 1 rep! While also managing a 50kgs bench press for 1 rep!

10.01.2022 AAANNNDDD WE ARE BACCKKK! Yesterday was our first day back at the gym with clients coming in everywhere! From now on at BG Coaching & Personal Training, we are completely back to normal with full access to the gym and all the equipment! 08.01.2022 A bit of fun tonight with my lovely lady and I both working on our max bench presses Alysha smashed out a massive 45kgs PB on her first real attempt at a PB! A big thanks goes out to Melody from Method + Action where who she has now begun training with! I managed a 95kgs bench while just not being able to sneak in the 100kgs ... It's such a blessing having a partner who is interested in her own fitness goals and going out and smashing it! We have the idea that comps might be a possibility in the future and have loved the support from everyone so far!

07.01.2022 It's been a busy and heavy time at BG Coaching & Personal Training lately! With nearly 30 clients walking through those doors each week at Mind and Body Fitness to train with me, it's been huge! It's only going to get bigger after September! Lately we have been taking a step back, focusing on depth, tracking, driving, locking out and stability. Matt, Terri, Simone and Gloria all had the experience of their knees wrapped and hit some very impressive weights. Program work has increased while creating some big online development for strength training. I'm really impressed to all your commitment and dedication to your training, so well done! If you're looking to book in with me, make sure you do it fast as there are always new people coming in every week! I will have openings from next month onwards! Get onto it FAST!

05.01.2022 It's amazing what you can do when you don't realise what weight you're lifting Kristell hitting a massive 90kg deadlift PB after her last PT being 70kgs a few weeks ago. A simple, mind over matter was all that was there and I knew she was more than capable of doing more! I'm looking forward to seeing these two deadlifting triple digits as a common thing soon ... Well done!

05.01.2022 Personal update here from me To be clear: Shaun T runs Insanity Max 30 programs (I just finished Max 30 Sweat) which you pay for a subscription and gain access to many different trainers and their work. I am biased and love Shaun T's work the most! You can gain access through Beachbody on demand online, so have a look! ... Mind and Body are running both free and paid work online which you can also access in the comfort of your home.. which is just so damn good! Work that you'd pay hundreds for are being done by these guys with a lot of it for free! So take your opportunity and jump on that while you can! And what I was trying to say through my breathless efforts were that you NEED to also stretch! So many of you guys just complete your workouts and be done with it, but please remember to also stretch and look after yourself! I hope you guys enjoyed the update, keep exercising and stay strong. 04.01.2022 Once again, I am very proud with everyone and their results over the last couple of days! Shayne got a taste of lifting a little heavier yesterday with an 80kg deadlift X2 reps Simone had her first touch of squats at 80kgs X6 reps ... Pip had her first session back deadlifting 80kgs X3 reps Meg smashed her first session deadlifting 70kgs X3 reps April and Makayla also smashed their first couple of sessions learning the technique of deadlifting and finding their ground! We are slowing building a stronger team and the results are starting to come in! Well done to everyone else who have done their PTs! I'll be training closer with these guys over the coming months while building programs to build their numbers! Great start!

03.01.2022 What a fantastic week with some very hard working people! I couldn't be anymore happier with you guys! Sorry if I miss some of you here, you will have your photo taken and posts about you in the future Meg has managed to squat for the first time using a front squat @ 30kgs! No matter what it seems like she cannot do due to physical reasons, nothing is stopping her! Well done! Simone got a taste of a low bar, 100kgs squat! We still need to hit that depth a little l...ower but as it was your first time developing a heavier squat, I'm very impressed! Rick came back to PTs showing off a 110kgs deadlift! I'm expecting some massive number out of him in the months to come! Shayne hit a comfortable 85kgs deadlift and a PB for 1 Rep! Time to do some building work with you! Tash is now smashing an 80kgs deadlift x3 with clean lock outs! Dahlia and Keisha came on board with Dahlia hitting a PB deadlift of 45kgs while getting out of her comfort zone and Keisha attempting her 100kgs deadlift on a non competitive deadlift bar. Once that lock out is there and the lift is cleaned up, that will be easy Kate's loading a huge 90kgs deadlift x6 reps! There's more where that came from but I'm very impressive with everyone this week! Super hard work and I'm looking forward to what next week brings

02.01.2022 From all the big lifting, comes better bars! Incoming (shipment due late September/early October), a new Goliath power bar in black zinc! I'm super excited to be getting new gear in and allowing you guys to train on, especially the ones looking to train for comps! There will be more to come in the future! This bar is aimed at squats, bench and accessory work. This is not a deadlifting barbell. All members of Mind and Body are welcome to use this bar, not just the people training with me!

02.01.2022 While I have stayed fairly quiet over the COVID - 19 period, we have still been training with limited resources in the paddock! It's been a blast and I thank everyone who was able to stay with me! For me, it's not over yet! July is when I will be going back to the gym (after Phase 3 restrictions) so I can provide everything my clients pay for. This is where my business will be moving above and beyond again.. and everyone who was previously training, can come back! Future p...lans include: Continuing @ Mind and Body to train everyone! Doing coaching sessions and expanding my knowledge and advice through nutritional areas to achieve optimal results. Specifically for a lifestyle program and to narrow down on stubborn fat loss areas. Expanding my dynamic range training through kettlebells and a mix of bodyweight, stretching and dumbbell work. Free weights have becoming a huge part of my training with clients now and the work is AWESOME! Allowing myself to be coached by multiple trainers with more experience than myself, while also pushing my own knowledge into what I learn. Merchandise will be built with logos, signs and banners! The possiblity of running an outdoor paddock weekend bootcamp in the future! And more through this thought process! I'm leaning, staying quiet and focused while using this time to find me and what I want also! I have used this Covid - 19 period to collect myself and to learn how to train the most efficiently and effectively! Well done for everyone who has stuck to the training! I'm looking forward to getting back to the gym!

01.01.2022 Tash, Kristell and Mum all getting in a sneaky session tonight focusing on their deadlifts! Kristell is starting to narrow down on that technique for her lifts! Tash loaded up a big 80kgs for her first time going for some heavier weights on a conventional deadlift while smashing a PB of 3 reps! ... Terri also smashed her PB to make 80kgs for 2 reps making that a 10kgs increase in one week! Great to see the numbers starting to climb

01.01.2022 Always a blast training everyone! As most of you know, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my full days at the gym and there are limited spots left on those days due to me still working my other job in town. HOWEVER, THATS ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE SOON! ... As from the begging of October, I will be taking on more people as I will be training full time! I will have plenty of room for new clients and if things go the way they have been lately, that will build up VERY FAST!
