19.01.2022 Absolutely love working for myself - taking time out of the office today to fly a kite - love it!!

14.01.2022 After a significant health crisis five years ago, Andy Clarke, from Nepean Mobile Massage - Rotai Body Mechanics (0405 501 098), was on a mission. He had always been interested in health and fitness (he trains seven days a week!) and was intrigued by the mechanics of the human body . Andy had initially studied to become a massage therapist, opening a traditional massage therapy business in 2012, but he was also interested in researching alternative and innovative practice...s, coming across a modality called Rotai. He was intrigued to discover that Rotai practitioners were getting outstanding outcomes with major cases of scoliosis that no one else was dealing with successfully. These outcomes captivated Andy , who then trained under Rotai Master James Bronson, who had successfully initiated the process for Rotai accreditation in Australia - and Nepean Mobile Massage - Rotai Body Mechanics was open for business in 2018. Rotai is a fully comprehensive treatment that is carried out while the client is fully-clothed, unlike traditional massage. Andy explains that the human body is a machine, with consistencies in the skeletal structure. Rotai considers what is out of alignment within this structure, and what the root cause might be, then addresses the problem using a combination of manipulative techniques, acupressure, massage, skeletal alignment and muscle testing. For example, a migraine could arise from a misalignment caused by a knee problem, causing a limp, in turn affecting the hips, and the spine creating a type of domino effect. Engaging in deep conversation with the client before treatment can give Andy the cues he needs to start the process. The practice is suitable for alleviating conditions such as scoliosis, twisted rib cage, lower back pain, sciatic pain, sports injury , lymphatic drainage, and even sinus problems. Andy recounts the story of a client with a torn ankle ligament. He came to treatment on crutches with a badly swollen ankle - barely able to wiggle his toes, and completely unable to weight-bear. After just one treatment, the swelling went down significantly, and the client was able to lose the crutches, weight bear, and limped out as a very happy customer ! Nepean Mobile Massage - Rotai Body Mechanics is a mobile service, which allows Andy to keep costs down, and come conveniently to you . With a promotional offer of a completely affordable $70 a session, it might be time to give Andy a call on 0405 501 098, and try something different for those grating aches and pains. Support Andy get this great new business firmly on the map, by liking and sharing this post, and leaving a comment to let him know you appreciate the support and pain relief that Nepean Mobile Massage - Rotai Body Mechanics is bringing to our local community ! http://www.rotaibodymechanics.com.au/

05.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS, DAWN ON YOUR ALTITUDE AWARD!! Life as we know it often changes significantly when we go through a catastrophic, life-changing event . Dawn Cady, from Pain Transformation Coach experienced exactly that when, at five and a half months’ pregnant, she suffered a fall at work that was to change the course of her life. At the time she had a secure career in government, and a baby on the way her life plan was all in order. And in a few short minutes that... changed . Substantially. Dawn split her pubic bone, dislocated both hips, tore a leg tendon, and was unable to walk using sticks for the rest of her pregnancy and a walking frame after son, Alfie, was born. Chronic pain was not the life she had envisioned as a new mum. Frustratingly, doctors advised Dawn that the ongoing pain was ‘in her head’, and suggested she see a clinical psychologist. This forced Dawn further down the rabbit hole and into a cycle of pain and painkillers at one point taking up to 13 per day, which wa s fast becoming an addiction. Eventually Dawn found an excellent physiotherapist who, thankfully, was able to diagnose the problem, and Dawn spent the next 18-months recovering, albeit still in considerable pain. As often happens, Dawn inadvertently came across a technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which uses a body ‘tapping’ protocol to address challenges such as chronic pain, PTSD and anxiety, to name a few. This technique resonated with Dawn, who began to research EFT as well as coaching using the protocols on her own chronic pain issues. She began to realise that she was self-sabotaging using unhelpful language and self-talk to acknowledge her pain, and found considerably more value in using positive affirmations . Through applying the EFT and coaching principles to her own situation, Dawn was able to eventually heal herself to a full recovery. Dawn contemplated the far-reaching tentacles of the chronic pain journey often extending to family, friends and careers - and took up studies in energy healing, psychotherapy and counselling. Dawn’s practice, Pain Transformation Coach grew legs. The practice sees Dawn applying many of the skills, techniques and protocols that worked so successfully for her seeing clients at her clinic in Blackheath, with a practice to open in Jamistown on 8th December. She also runs a virtual clinic via Zoom so is not limited to supporting local clientele only . Passionate about her field of work after all, she has lived the client experience Dawn offers hope and support, and creates an understanding of the holistic chronic pain picture for the client all of which are critical factors on the path to recovery and eventual healing. 03.01.2022 Sound like life in your small business? You’re not alone! Let me know if you need support getting those ducks sorted

03.01.2022 My 27-year-old warrior princess has a chronic lung condition, and has it bad enough that, at times, she has collapsed on the footpath out the front of the house waiting for an ambulance . She had been in hospital many, many times but this time, in October, was very different. When she got to hospital, her oxygen levels measured 75%. She stared at a small dot on the wall for five hours that was all the brain capacity she had. That night she had a terrifying attack. The doctors could do nothing except hold her hand and tell her just that: there was nothing else they could do for her. This is a live cross to #HealthHacker, Jake Allen Brittain in Texas, with Rhiannon talking about her frightening experience. First time we've done a live - thanks Jake! https://www.facebook.com/JakeBDreaming/videos/10204583840431403/?t=0
