18.01.2022 During the #takeaway, the left-hand side should play more of a role taking the club away. Most people use their dominant side which can cause path issues. Without hitting a ball, this is a great drill to help with using your left side in the golf swing. Here are the three most important things in this effective takeaway drill: ... Back of right hand up against back of left hand Feel like left hand and chest are moving away simultaneously Left-hand hinges the #golfclub Use left hand side to release the golf club A simple drill to make sure you do all of this, demonstrated here in these videos, watch these from 2 different angles and let me know what you think!

12.01.2022 Watch my hands in these videos as well as what shots they are capable of producing as I demonstrate neutral, weak & strong grips. Neutral: As the name states, this grip allows hinge as well as rotation to both right and left. This is what is needed for clubface control. The club sits evenly through the fingers in the right and left hands. Weak: This type of grip sits more in the palm of the left hand, making rotating of the club to the right very easy but rotating closed almo...st impossible. This grip will more often than not, create a shot that has excessive left to right spin. Strong: This grip sits very much in the fingers of the left hand, as well as the right hand sitting under the grip. This makes rotating the lub to the left very easy but to the right almost impossible. This grip will promote a shut clubface, making shots that spin right to left much easier. *These grips are all exaggerated, there is no harm in taking some elements of these grips into your normal grip* Make sense? 04.01.2022 Watch this video for another one of my favourite pre-set hinge drills. Watch closely as my Trail arm gently folds as my wrists naturally hinge.. I'll show you via two different angles so you can fully understand. Hinging your wrists early and getting the club parallel to the club can help with preventing your wrists rolling and snatching the club inside. ...
