Make sure you have these things ready (at least) before your big installation day: 1) a copy of the design and a performance report, particularly if there is shading expected on your panels. 2) agreement on inverter and battery location 3) contracts signed detailing the above, plus at least brand of equipment to be used, STC pricing, warranty periods, and warranty conditions.... 08.01.2022 Welcome to BOOM Friday's inspiring person! This time - Ravi... Ravi is at the cutting-edge of implementing Housing Choices Australia’s ambitious National Sustainability Strategy. He is knee-deep in managing energy retrofits, and is the first to admit he’s been on a steep learning curve since he started. Since 2017, Ravi’s gained significant practical experience, resulting in over 608kW of rooftop solar, plus an air-conditioning program. He’s now about to launch into a hot wa...ter heat pump, insulation and draught-proofing program, all with the aim of reducing Housing Choices’ environmental impact and directly benefiting their clients. Ravi recommends BOOM to all their stakeholders. It makes it so much easier to manage the portfolio and do procurement at a large scale - before BOOM, projects didn’t really go anywhere. Ravi says he has learned so much about technology options through direct support from the BOOMPower team and now all that knowledge and all of those resources are available in BOOM.
