21.01.2022 As chairperson of the Brighton Bowls Club I would personally like to thank the board executives for their hard work in getting the Club COVID compliant so that ...we have been able to continue to trade under the new COVID legislation The amount of work a small number of voluntary members do behind the scenes for our club is unbelievable and we as a club should all say thank you very much. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and for that I thank you The board apologises to the members and guests for any delays they experience short term during this transition period, however we as members need to remember these delays are very minor when we consider the other option, not to be open at all. The board and staff would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members a very Happy and Safe Christmas and New Year BBC Chairperson David Knight

09.01.2022 Easing of Greater Brisbane restrictions: Q&A Q. Staying seated while I have a beer with my mates is difficult, do we really have to do this again? A. For the ...time being, its important to pull up a seat when you’re drinking or dining in a licensed venue. To further protect QLDers, the CHO has put in place as many measures as possible to ensure people are physical distancing. You can still order, pay or collect food and drinks at the bar or counter. No masks are needed while drinking or dining. More information on the easing of Greater Brisbane restrictions (current until 1am 22 January) and handy Q&As can be found: https://bit.ly/3oDIi5v.
