03.01.2022 Hey Bright Side Family, Hope everyone’s Monday is filled with music I know mine has been a very Musical Monday. I’ve been asked a bit lately why dancing is my passion? Firstly, what is dancing? Dancing = The movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually to music. For the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion and/or releasing energy. I believe everyone dances in some form; from attending dance classes, to bobbing away in the car/kitchen to your favourite song, t...o the pub shuffle or the freestyle expression of music. Why is it MY passion, even thou I may not do the pub shuffle or freestyle in public I know I am guilty of dancing in the car to my favourite songs (safely of course) and for the very few of you who have seen me freestyle at home or in private (sorry there is no video evidence). With the right music nothing is off the cards. When I dance, I am in my own world where there is no stress or drama, its my release from the real world Dance my problems away. I am so grateful that I have my dance family thou Covid has limited most opportunities to social dance, it doesn’t stop you being able to move to the music. I know there are a few of you out there like me with the right music you can’t help but get up and move.
