11.01.2022 We are looking forward to Sunday 11 June from 8.45am onwards until about 6.30pm for the East Coast Championships and Festival of the Bands. We have 11 bands pla...ying throughout the day. The bands are: Newcastle PCYC Brass, Brisbane Water Brass, Waratah Brass, City of Holroyd, Warringah Concert Brass, Willoughby Brass, Wallarah Community Band, Uni of Newcastle Concert Band, Lake Macquarie Winds and HSPA Junior and Senior Concert Bands. 08.01.2022 Very pleased to announce that Norm Short is our new Musical Director! Norm is a Conservatorium trained musician and band master. He was band master of Yagoona Band for 7 years and band master of Dulwich Hill Band. A principal cornetist, he has played in the Fire Brigade Band and the Sutherland Shire Band. See you Tuesday night and dont forget the Annual General Meeting is 12.00 Noon, on Saturday 22 September.

This year we have moved the event to Th...e Conservatorium of Music and we are looking forward to another successful day. The Championships will be held on the 11th June 2017 and we will hopefully have the maximum number (12) brass and concert bands playing. 02.01.2022 Brisbane Water Brass Band wishes to thank the guest players who turned out today to play at the Gosford Netball Associations Netball Courts for the NSW State Netball Championship opening ceremonies. It was an early and rainy Saturday morning start, but we were all in our chairs and ready to play at 7.30 am for the teams to march past the Netball Officials reviewing stand. Liesl Tesch, MP Member for Gosford, and Emma McBride, Federal Member for Dobell were among the dignitaries on the stand, along with the Officers and Life Members of the Netball Association. A wonderful gathering of more than 70 Netball teams from all over NSW.
