25.01.2022 Roseneath Crème de la Celt competed at the Riverina Dressage Festival over the last weekend and i couldn't be happier with him. He won all his four pony classes... in novice and elementary and was the elementary and above champion. He also received the Barrie O'Keeffe perpetual trophy for the highest score in an official class with 75.214%. He has had a good few weeks with him also doing very well at the ACTDA competition in his first official elementary competition for a win and a third against the open horses with good scores. Nelshie also received the 2018/19 CPBSA Part-bred under saddle National title for the performance awards and his silver medallion. Thank you to the sponsors of these awards Clover Connemara Sporthorses, Sugargum Connemara Stud and Costalota Connemara Stud. I would like to also thank the sponsors of the classes at the Riverina Dressage Festival - Jodie Dunstan Dressage, Kohnke's Own, Emma's Show horses, Warren Weaven Fencing, Horseland Wagga and Kennards Hire Wagga. And a big thank you to Ella Bradshaw and Kirsten Volz for the photos. See more

24.01.2022 Great weekend away at Jindera Dressage Championships! I would like to thank the JEA committee for all of their hard work in putting on their champs. It is alway...s so lovely compete at their comps. Nelshie worked well and was Novice and Elementary Pony Champion winning all his tests despite his rider having 2 brain snaps in his last test. A learning weekend with a few things to iron out but he tried his little heart out. See more

15.01.2022 APH Lets Explore enjoying his retirement.

15.01.2022 On the weekend Roseneath Creme de la Celt competed at the Australian Dressage Championships at the SIEC. A big competition with a big atmosphere at a venue that is pretty intense. For Nelshie it was a pretty big atmosphere with a lot going on that he hasn't experienced as he has only competed at 4 other smaller venues in his competition career and only been under saddle for 2 years. However, with his usual confidence he was fairly unfazed except for a few very spooky moments.... Saturday saw us compete in the Elementary Pony classes where he placed 4th and 5th. Unfortunately not our best tests with some green mistakes throughout both and very windy conditions unsettled him a little in his second test. However, a really good learning experience and a super debrief from the brilliant Deon Stokes meant it was on wards and upwards. Sunday saw us compete in the Novice Pony classes with two solid tests with just over 70% in both, a win in both classes and being the Australian Novice Pony Champion. I am absolutely stoked with this result and couldn't be prouder of our little home bred pony. Over the competition we were also named the reserve combination for the Novice and Elementary classes for the NSW state team. We ended up the combination for the novice class and with the results from Alex and Justin our NSW team won the Pony state team competition. A huge thank you to Deon Stokes for the Friday lesson and helping us through every test warm up. It was really a very valuable experience and i learnt so much. Also a big thank you to my support crew with John Bromfield running around after me all week, making sure Nelshie was pampered and looking amazing and for taking super photos, and Kirsten Volz being never too far away. I was also so happy mum and dad were able to make the trip to Sydney to watch their pretty awesome pony compete. Also a big thank you to Ella Bradshaw for holding the forte at home and making sure everyone was fed and happy back at home. See more

05.01.2022 Roseneath White Delight - 3yo Connemara x WB filly by Gneevebrack Storm out of Peace in Time (Our Peace Officer). Tori has been home from the breakers for 5 weeks and we are very happy with her progress. She is a lovely filly with a great work ethic and big elastic movement for her size. Thoroughly enjoying the ride on her and we are looking forward to her progression forward from a young horse. Many thanks again to Eagleview Equine for breaking her in along with our other 2 young horses.

03.01.2022 Today we said good bye to LeVale East Wind who started the next chapter of his ridden career. We are looking forward to seeing the progress of this exciting young pony and we wish his new owners all the very best.

02.01.2022 Last weekend saw us compete at Aonach 2020. Aonach is a gathering of Connemara ponies for fun and competition. We thoroughly enjoy this event every year as it is just such a lovely friendly event that fosters friendship and friendly competition through competing a Connemara, pure bred or part bred. We took 4 horses/ponies to this event, Gneevebrack Storm the imported Connemara stallion who needs no introduction, Roseneath White Delight (3yo filly by Gneevebrack Storm x WB/TB... Our Peace Officer), Roseneath Dragoon (4yo stallion by Glenormiston Celtic Pride x WB/TB Our Peace Officer) and Roseneath Creme de la Celt (Celtic Basil x Welsh Pony). Both young horses, Roseneath White Delight and Roseneath Dragoon, performed very well at both Prep and Prelim levels and Aonach allowed us to compete them in a low stress environment for their first competitions. Spider also competed in the jumping events and is developing his confidence when he is out competing. Gneevebrack Storm competed at elementary and medium levels and is continuing to consolidate his medium work. Roseneath Creme de la Celt also had a start at elementary and medium and is also continuing to consolidate his training at these levels. Nelshie also competed in the 60cm jumping class and thoroughly enjoyed it. A big thankyou to Kirsten who came over from Canberra to strap for us on Saturday. We would also like to thank the Gneevebrack Storm partnership for their continue support of Roseneath.
