23.01.2022 It’s with great sadness we are sorry to announce the sad and sudden passing of Peter Barnsey Barnes Today Barnsey suffered a major cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived after extensive efforts ... Barnsey was an absolute top bloke and a legend in the industry, with a heart as big as they come he touched the hearts of everybody who had the pleasure of knowing him. Barnsey’s funeral will be in nz where majority of his family resides so we have decided to host an informal celebration of his life at the BTL workshop on Friday afternoon so friends of Barnsey’s feel free to pop in to show respect for the legend with some Friday knock offs! And Friday we ask everyone to have their LIGHTS ON FOR BARNSEY Post up a pic of your rig with the hashtag #lightsonforbarnsey So we can all enjoy the love that will be spread far and wide!

13.01.2022 Better late than never but September’s driver recognition award goes to Ashley tangles powter! Tangles got his nickname on his very first day from one of the leading hands for his reversing skills and it’s stuck ever since ... 3 years on he’s still as enthusiastic as his first day, takes great pride in his job and not afraid to go the extra mile he’s also usually the last one to go home (after he puts his mudflaps back on) Him and his partner have recently built a home and got married so a big thanks for everything and a massive congratulations for all you’ve achieved and what’s to come from us at BTL and we look forward to growing with you and your family

05.01.2022 Better late than never but this months driver appreciation award goes to Peter Barnsey Barnse Barnsey has been with us for about 5 years! One of the first out of the gate every morning and is one of our top operators, his trucks presentation is a prime example of a driver with pride in his passion, at the ripe young age of 68 he’s been pedalling the big girls for 50 years now, no doubt he would have seen it all! He’s the first bloke to offer a hand when someone’s in troub...le and just an all round top bloke! From all the crew at BTL thanks for everything you do for the company!
