22.01.2022 Hi fellow Ninjas. We are getting a lot of early interest in the HQ-J ratchet indicators. So we have put them up for Pre-Order. We expect these to be ready in about 3 weeks give or take. 21.01.2022 We are excited!! A cool old school Holden project on the go. This time its a HQ-HZ Auto shifter ratchet indicator. Again going for minimum modifications to the console. Stay tuned for progress :)

20.01.2022 This just sent to us by Brad. First install of his ratchet indicator. It's in his beautiful VY SS Ute. Its running a blown 6ltr, e85, tubbed, billets, and T400 reverse pattern shifter. 18.01.2022 This just sent in to us of one of the very first finished intalls of the ratchet kit into a VL. The owner is really happy and said the intall was very simple. In this case he also went for a matching Build Ninja 3 guage pod in the sunglass holder too.

18.01.2022 We have just received the proofs from the printers for the VB-K and also the VT-X decals. We think they look fantastic. They were scanned to make sure the fonts are as close to the original factory ones as possible. We expect to have the prototypes finished and tested by the end of the week. If people would like to get there hands on the first batch they will be available;e for pre-order soon :)

18.01.2022 We love customer feedback. Thanks to Ben for sending through the info for the Jatco gearbox numbers. The 3 and 4-speed Jatco has been added to the VL gearbox selection to make it a little clearer.

16.01.2022 The design process has started on the VR-S Fog light switch bracket. Starting off with a copy, then have some ideas to make it stronger to make them last as they should.

15.01.2022 And that's a wrap. The VT-X are ready to go. Quite a tricky thing to design to fit into position with zero modifications to the console at all. Like the other models available in 4, 3 and 2 speed versions, forward and reverse pattern. The pre orders will ship out tomorrow. Thanks all for your patience!! 15.01.2022 This just in from Matt on his beautiful install of the new HQ-J ratchet indicators. This is exactly what Build Ninja stands for, as factory looking as we can make it, and simple to install. In this case we worked closely with Matt on the first design. We love it.

13.01.2022 That's the VB-K 3 speed done and dusted through testing. Images have been taken and the installation guide also written. Currently on the printer is the final prototype 2 speed. Decals are ordered, so looking good for shipping to start at the end of next week on all versions.

12.01.2022 Hi Ninjas. Design has started on the VR/S Fog Light Switch mount. We had an OE one kindly donated by Ryzie, but we are after a section of the fascia where it goes, and a switch. The switch could be the air con, hazards, and doesn't need to work just physically be good. Also the fascia we just only need the corner so don't wreck a good one. Anyone in Adelaide northern suburbs got them, or if someone is willing to post can do you a nice discount on one of our products :) pm us please.

10.01.2022 We thought we would share Ninja Gary's mod he made when installing his Pro Ratchet in HSV454. The look was for all mods to look semi-factory at first glance, but looking closer made you notice all the changes. Normally a ratchet shifter has the reverse lever across to the left out of line with the main shift lever. This means having to cut a separate hole in the shifter surround. This is not easy especially if you want to make it look neat, and factory. So the stealthy m...od is to cut off the reverse lever, then Tig weld it across in line with the main shift lever. This means it comes up through the factory gear lever slot behind the main shifter surround so no cutting is required. Then use black heat shrink tubing over the red anodised handle to disguise it a little. To finish off the stealth look is an adapter to mate a factory HSV manual gear knob to the ratchet shaft. We hope that is useful to someone, have fun everyone!!

The print time came out a bit more than expected which put the price up slightly but we will include free Express Post for the first 10 purchases. 08.01.2022 This just in from Gerasimo Dealz with his beautiful install of a TCI Outlaw shifter into his VL, running a forward pattern glide and Rb26/30. We love how well the colours set off against the grey console colour.

06.01.2022 The HQ-J indicator coming along really well. This is just a dummy test decal, but the print/fit etc is all worked out. Decals at the printer. For these, we will have the regular 6 options. 2, 3 & 4 speed, forward and reverse. But also a PRNDSL option for those that want to keep the factory numbering running a 3 speed forward pattern. We would expect to be shipping once the decals are here and we can put it through the final QA checks. So expect about 2 weeks. 02.01.2022 Who doesn't love a piece of classic Aussie muscle!! We are getting close to finishing the Ford XW-Y ZC-D gear indicator units. We have been working with Ewen with his gorgeous XW for the prototype. They will be available in 2,3,& 4 speed, forward and reverse pattern. The kit will include the decal, 3D printed indicator plate fitted with LED;s, and also a custom acrylic panel to take the decal.
