25.01.2022 Heading to Horrocks Beach to wait out the storm. We were supposed to be heading into Gladstone Bay but reckon itll be a mud pile at the moment, plus we might have got stuck in there. When unhitching check the degrees you have lifted the coupling and set back at that height when hitching back up. Just makes life that little bit simpler. 20.01.2022 Finally upgraded the suspension on the Bushchookmoblie. All the good gear WCS remote reservoir front coilovers, WCS remote rear shocks, King Coils and beefy 500kg leafs. No more sagging arse and no doubt much better ride and handling when towing. Probably wont even need the WDH! Most of all a much safer set up. Will be giving it all a good test when we head north next week. Got looked after by Luke & Josh at Swat Suspension & Tyre Joondalup. If you are looking at getting a suspension upgrade we cant recommend these guys enough. Tell them we sent you and theyll give you a special deal. #swatsuspension

19.01.2022 Finally got our flat pack fire pit bent up. Will do some testing when we head north in August and work on any adjustments needed. This testing will require rigorous consumption of cold cans of Bush Chook around a cozy fire. Will keep you posted.

12.01.2022 We had to do a few modifications to Matt Johnson’s camper to fit his newly purchased Gripsport 4 bike rack. The best installation method was to move the winch post back and use its cross member to house the rack. We then made a new cross member to house the winch post using the Gripsport Bolt on Mount Saddles. We also organised a gas fitter to shorten the gas line. Part of our service at Bush Chook RV & Leisure is complimentary assembly and fitting. (Excluding fabrication and gas work). Thanks to Glenn from Fullcraft for his quality fabrication work. 06.01.2022 The road into Red Bluff and Gnarloo Station hasnt improved. Amazed to see the amount of normal road vans in there, and on the road, must have been a slow trip in. Even saw a full size Apollo rental up the hill at Red Bluff. Not sure he was supposed to be there! Still an amazing place to stay if you can get in! Plenty of swamp rats at both. 04.01.2022 What a difference a decent suspension upgrade makes. Were fully loaded and the rig is sitting nice. Still might make a couple of small adjustments on the way but looks and feels so much better. No weight distribution hitch attached either, handles like a dream. 02.01.2022 Usually bypass Geraldton when heading north. Decided to stay a couple of nights and check out some attractions we havent seen before. The HMAS Sydney memorial is an amazing structure and a fantastic tribute to the 642 sailors lost at sea. The upside down crystal ball was a bit unusual as well. #wanderoutyonder

The super friendly staff are always smiling and always offer brilliant service. If youre ever up this way Bullara is well worth the stop, only a stones throw off the Burkett Rd.
