06.01.2022 Despite COVID-19, the Sydney property market is forging ahead with auction clearance rates tracking at levels similar to those seen 12 months ago and demonstrating the same sharp growth patterns following the election results. Preliminary auction clearance rates for the week ending 1 November 2020 were 79.6 and 75.8 per cent, for Sydney and Melbourne, respectively. Mr Wargent of BuyersBuyers.com.au said that it should be noted that houses are enjoying notably higher clearance rates than units, but overall the market sentiment has improved significantly of late.
