17.01.2022 My next Newcastle cake class on Friday 24th July will now be limited to 4 people. That means there is only one spot left, and you can book in via the website and secure it with a 50% deposit. If things change in June/ July, more spots may become available again, but for now with all the health concerns, its best to keep the class small and be able to spread out in the space. Of course, if I have any health concerns at that time, or my trip dates need to be adjusted, I will postpone the class and let you know ahead of time as much as possible.

16.01.2022 Over on the Cake Craze Community Group page, weve recently been discussing my personal/ business RECIPES, and yesterday I launched them for sale via my website. You have the option of choosing some individual recipes for purchase (from $15-$59), or you can purchase the Full recipe bundle (with 12 different recipes), or the Mud cake recipe bundle (with 3 different mud cake recipes + ganache recipe). Each bundle includes the ganache recipes and instruction also. Ive included ...everything I think youll need to know, plus what I use, how I do things, and some extra tips and advice. 16.01.2022 I have some big news... I am relocating to Brisbane in the next few weeks. Ill be continuing my business in a casual way, with occasional custom cakes, small classes and cupcake/ cookie decorating parties when time permits, as I also have a new full time job at The Cupcake Parlour in South Brisbane (West End). I want to thank everyone who has had anything to do with Cake Craze over the past 10 years here in Newcastle - all my lovely clients, students, retail shoppers and lo...yal supporters! Its going to be a big change, but Im excited for what the future holds. I will be back on occasion, and will be back to make a special cake and teach a class in late July. 09.01.2022 Hey everyone, if youre looking for something to do with the kids next week for Easter, here is an Easter cupcake tutorial I filmed a few years ago with my son! You just need some cupcakes, buttercream, sprinkles, small Easter eggs (not in foil), broken flake/ twirl chocolate, and you can also use some fondant and edible textas for decorations if you have them at home - otherwise just create your own special cupcakes with our basic guidance! And also have a laugh with us, theres a few funny bloopers from me, and hilarious facials from Zac! Lol

03.01.2022 I know how hard it is at the moment with the global pandemic affecting everyone and their plans in this industry (and also in small business) - namely large special events and weddings, cake shows, and also cake decorating classes. But looking to the future, all vendors are still available for your large event/ wedding bookings later in the year, and into 2021. Dont forget you can still plan your events (even if they need to be postponed for now), and book, or re-book your ...vendors now to buoy them through this hard time. And I know there wont be a lot of kids parties or celebrations (other than small family gatherings) for a while, but you can always cheer someone up with a special cake or dessert items from your favourite bakery, cake shop or cake artist! Support small businesses if you can, share the love (not the germs!), and lets all hope beyond hope that we come out of this as best as possible, and can resume our normal lives very soon.
