22.01.2022 We are fortunate to have found and employed a wide range of very talented people during our 30 years operating as an Engineering Consultancy. Part-time and full-time draftspeople learners to very experienced ones Incredibly talented Engineers new ones and old ones.. University Engineering students, Work experience students... A very friendly soil technician, and his various helpers Very talented Civil and Building Designers, with a lot of experience And then, of course, Ellen the Office Manager, who keeps everyone in line and organised. We currently employ 18 staff, including 3 CSU Engineering Students

18.01.2022 We booked our first job in July 1990. In 1991, we completed 300 jobs. In 2019, we booked in 1,423 jobs.... We have entered some 30,000 jobs in our 30 years, ranging from small home improvements, to Subdivisions and multi-storey buildings in all States and Territories of Australia. We continue to support the Central West Building Industry by providing design and documentation for residential projects of all scope and size. We are proud to be associated with the majority of builders in Bathurst and surrounding areas, together with local Developers, Surveyors, Architects, Real Estate Agents and Solicitors.

15.01.2022 Calare Civil Pty Ltd Celebrating 30 Years At our first ever ‘Office Christmas Party’ in 1990, there was just the three of us, and one of us had just turned one.and needed a highchair. Here is our first Soil Technician grinding down the soil.... Forever grateful to our families, and especially our kids, because it was slow-going at the start, and it definitely has not been easy at any stage over the past 30 years. They continue to be the foundation of Calare Civil, which was established as a genuine local family business.

11.01.2022 Our Office will be CLOSED from 12.30pm on Monday 24th December 2018, and will re-open on Monday 7th January 2019.

07.01.2022 Calare Civil Pty Ltd Celebrating 30 Years July 2020 marks 30 years since we booked in our first job. We set up in a room at Mitchell Plant Hire and we leased a photocopier, a fax machine and a drawing board. Garth was 28 years old, and I do not know what we were thinking... We remember clearly the first projects that we were given, and the people who brought them to us, and we appreciate those people always. Our Company has grown slowly but steadily, outgrowing premises in William Street and Bentinck Street to arrive at our purpose- designed offices now in Rankin Street. We have seen the introduction and evolution of computers, CAD, computer-aided Engineering analysis and design and other technology including robotics and drone technology, and gradually added casual drafting staff, permanent draftsmen, Civil and Structural Engineers, technicians and now Building Designers. 07.01.2022 Our office doors will be closed for a while but we are business as usual! COVID-19 UPDATE Due to State Government restrictions and acting on advice on health professionals we are seeking to minimise contact with the public amid the COVID 19 outbreak. As a result of this Calare Civil employees are currently working remotely from home and communicating with clients via electronic means.... During this time we aim to continue business as normal and operate as smoothly as possible however we do expect that there will be some slight delays due to the separation of our employees. We also expect to continue critical inspections of construction items (i.e. slab reinforcement and matters regarding structural stability) during this period as long as current sanctions allow us to do so.
