We at Camelot are doing a little planning in the background to ensure that once all the social distancing restrictions are lifted, we have some pretty neat offerings for you and the rest of our community. One of our new offerings will be the creation of an indoor lounge for all to use throughout the whole year, offering local music, and a place for new ideas and just, getting together over toast, coffee, wine or pizza.... Here is a rough wish list to get things started. - Dinner tables - Odd dining chairs (or sets) - Old school chairs - Odd lounge chairs - Odd 2 or three seater lounges - Chaise lounges if anyone has a spare unwanted one lazing about! - Small or large coffee tables - Board games If you have any of the above that you are happy to part with, please private message us with a photo of the item. 15.01.2022 Songwriting and shoot the band workshop 2020 postponed in light of COVID-19. . . Last year our friends Beth and Kav Temperly (Eskimo Joe) joined Camelot to bring a unique songwriting and photography workshop to a selection of locally based talented teens. We had planned to work with them again this April, but with COVID-19 we have sadly had to postpone. We'll be sure to rejoin with them again next year to deliver this once again! .... . Meanwhile, check out a little project Beth and Kav have been working really hard on since we met with them last year! They've created this little podcast gem, take a listen, they have interviewed some fabulous artists, and their most recent was local songwriting sensation, Timothy Nelson! . . 08.01.2022 Calling all BIPOC folks! Free Dj classes are starting in a few weeks at Camelot by the awesome peeps at Soul Alphabet! We would like to acknowledge that we will be meeting and holding these classes on the stolen lands of Noongar country and the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation.... We would like to pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging and to all the First Nations peoples, including those who attend and contribute to this event. Sovereignty has never been ceded and treaties never signed. Take Up Space is a 6 month long project that was designed by Soul Alphabet and Nora Zion of BUN DEM. We will be having monthly sessions led by local djs and other creatives that are active in the Boorloo (Perth) music scene. Lastly, if you would like to join our classes please message us.

We at Camelot are doing a little planning in the background to ensure that once all the social distancing restrictions are lifted, we have some pretty neat offerings for you and the rest of our community. ... One of our new offerings will be the creation of an indoor lounge for all to use throughout the whole year. We are planning for this space for anyone to visit and enjoy, with local art on the walls and a warm inviting community atmosphere. This will be your local community lounge room, somewhere to huddle in winter and keep cool and in Summer, out of the unforgiving heat. By day, during the cooler months, you can expect a warm cosy space open for cafe visitors, social groups, or anyone who needs a comfortable space to get some work done over a coffee, and a bite to eat. By night, you can expect gigs and small concerts with an intimate feel - think jazz, acoustic, comedy, projected art, moody lighting and more. Think groups of friends playing cards and board games, catch ups, open mic nights, professional performers, smoothies, wine, beer, spiced olives, cheese boards, pizza antipasto platters, crisps and other delicious and affordable offerings on the menu, designed by our own in house chef. DON'T THROW OUT YOUR LONELY FURNITURE! We can't set this up on our own! To get this up and running we need your old unwanted furniture. We are looking to create a relaxed eclectic style. So, that lonely stylish chair, retro table, moody broody lamp, cosy old rug, hat stand or tea trolley might find its new home in our new little lounge.
