22.01.2022 Puppies of all breeds and confidence levels had a ball last week, when we launched our new pre-vacc puppy minding service. For a couple of hours they had a ball making new friends, playing -and wearing us out!- while their parents followed the comotions via zoom from home. Do you know of any puppies who would like to join us this week? Note, this offer is only open to puppies that live within 5km of Bentleigh and are still too young to be socialised in public.

Help pups and parents get the help they need -while still keeping everyone safe and respecting the restrictions.

14.01.2022 UPDATE: It will now be at 12PM, so a little later in the day. This is a cheeky call-out to any of my clients that walk their dog in Halifax Park on mid-mornings... On Friday (9th of Oct) I have a meet & greet with a TV producer in Halifax Park. The plan is very casual -we will be walking his puppy together- but I'm hoping to (totally coincidentally ) bump into some happy puppy school graduates... -Yes, the world IS full of conspiracies, haha! Wanna come and help push the world in the right direction?

13.01.2022 Young puppies grow up more confident when socialised with new unfamiliar dogs before the age of 13 weeks. If you know any young pups within 5km radius of Bentleigh who hasn't had a chance to party yet, send their parents to us. We offer daytime dog minding and socialisation for puppies too young to go to the dog park (not yet fully immunised).

13.01.2022 Don't let your little petal become a wallflower! Zooming around with friends, wrestling in the grass and playing till they get so tired that they lie down while wrestling is what we like to see every puppy experience. For some, it's hard to find the confidence and the right opportunity to experiment with bravery. I absolutely love taking dogs to the dog park, but what if your pooch is shy, itsy bitsy tiny or not yet vaccinated? For tiny and shy dogs (fully vaccinated), we now... offer a slow-introduction to gentle and supervised play every Wednesday night at 6-7pm in Bentleigh. A maximum of 10 dogs will be allowed and the session will go for an hour -we find that the dogs get tired by then. The space will be held by either Canine Behaviourist, Kira or Hyeji, who is also a qualified dog trainer. We are starting already this week on the 24th, so book in straight away either by email to [email protected] or by calling 0400 354 092. If you can't make it this week, but would like to come in the future, please let us know now so we have your feedback. The cost is $30. For puppies that are not yet fully vaccinated, we already offer socialisation parties every Thursday at 6pm.

12.01.2022 NOW OFFERING DOGGIE DAYCARE Do you know anyone who would like TWO PARK WALKS in a day, ALL-DAY CUDDLES and PLAY on the lawn with like-minded four-legged friends...? Kira and the team are now trialling doggie daycare in Kira's own home. The daycare guests are joining our overnight boarding guests in our deluxe dog lounge and secure garden in the time between their excursions to the dog park. The pooches are looked after by Kira and her live-in boarding team, so there'll be plenty of human attention and cuddles too. Who? As always, we stick to the criteria that all dogs in our home care must be compatible with a Toy Poodle, so this is a safe and fun place for even the smallest of furballs. If your dog is an Itsy-Bitsy-Toy breed, join us for Tiny Tuesday! We are limiting the number of guests, so that the total group of dogs doesn't exceed more than 4 dogs in the house. When? Initially, we are offering daycare only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The drop off time frame in the mornings is 8-9am. The pick time frame in the evening is 4.30-5.30. Please note that due to high demand for overnight boarding, we will not be able to offer doggie daycare during school holidays. Pricing: $65 for One Casual Day $250 ($50/ day) for 5 Session Card, valid for 3 months $450 ($45/ day) for 10 session card, valid for 3 months A penny for your thoughts? Do you have a cute shot from when your puppy had its first play with another dog? Feel free to post it in the comments. Please note this mob is all pre-vacc, so the socialisation took place in my private backyard, where nothing can make them sick. The owners watched from home on Zoom, so all regulations for Stage 4 were also met.
