25.01.2022 Classes resume in Gisborne & Woodend from this Monday 13th July - for students NOT from lockdown areas only. ADDITIONAL BALLET CLASSES HAVE BEEN ADDED. All students who usually attend classes in Gisborne & Woodend have places reserved for them. Students who normally attend in Sunbury are invited to attend also BUT you need to email me to let me know which classes you will attend so I know numbers. Classes will have a limit and extra classes will not be run if I do not get enough emails. Please dont just turn up, you must contact me first. Miss C (SEE EMAIL for timetable)

20.01.2022 I would like to congratulate Carmel Amelia Grade 2 student Sophia Corkill for her recent exciting news. Sophia attends a Russian Cultural school each week and after performing her ballet solo in their Christmas performance was encouraged to enter an international online competition for Russian students. Judged in Egypt with entries from countries across Europe and the world Sophia was selected for first place in the dance category in the International "Happy Child" Competition. Its certainly lovely news to share in this difficult time. Pictured is Sophia pictured performing her solo and her award certificate. Well done Sophia! Miss C

15.01.2022 WOW I was overcome and very humbled by the 30th anniversary surprise put on for me for our last day of open week. My beautiful teachers, parents and students h...ad arranged a presentation which left me lost for words. Our studio now has a magnificent larger than life Carmel amelia sculpture arranged by Stephie and Lucy with donations from our CASOD families. I just LOVE IT There was also , wine, cupcakes, flowers and an amazing framed work displaying 30 years of my concert programs (which now has pride of place in our foyer) Whilst this has indeed been one of my toughest years I have been reminded that the reason we battle on is for all the wonderful moments and people in our life. Thank you to everyone who helped put this together and to CASOD students, teachers and families who have made the school what it is.... may 2021 be the best year yet for all of us xxx

03.01.2022 I am so sorry to announce that our Sunbury Studios will now be locked down again from Thursday. Exam classes will still proceed tomorrow (Wednesday) ! I have been so amazed to see that our ballet students are looking fabulous despite the term in lock-down and even with this set back I am still confident we can get you ready for your exams with some extra work on next school holidays. Stay tuned for more information on our plans to keep you all dancing. We will be running a combination of FREE Zoom classes and classes in Gisborne and Woodend will resume as planned for those who can attend. More news soon - please stay positive dancers! Miss C

We are lucky however to have been offered some December dates at Kyneton Town Hall both for junior and seniors. IF ALL GOES WELL WITH COVID RESTRICTIONS... we still hope to be performing at the end of the year and celebrate the 30th anniversary of CASOD
