16.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! It was a bit blowy on the sandbar but Lilli Pilli Venturers paddled over too and ended up a very social night of tubing, talking, an egg fight, attempted wake surfing and fishing.

16.01.2022 A great write up but all know Jack does a lot more than pack trailers - where do we start? SES volunteer, helps our venturers, helps as a warden down at Coutts and Cataract, organised clearing of our venturer site At Coutts, has on several occasions cleaned graffiti off the hall, helped organise Boree for Venturers last year... and much more all while negotiating an apprenticeship which is almost finished. Well done again Jack and also to our Rover Aaron.

14.01.2022 https://scouts.com.au///29/national-vertical-school-2019/ Grampians for Easter 2019 - regos open now and close 14 December 2018 $450. Open to venturers, rovers and leaders.

14.01.2022 Best wishes to Callum and his team (Jacob, Ash and Campbell) as they set off today from Jenolan to Katoomba for a 4 day QS hike. The weather may be their biggest challenge this time with a nippy night tonight forecast. 4 teenage boys - how many kilos of food are they carrying (combined) we wonder?

03.01.2022 Hi Guys Halloween tomorrow night at the hall. Everyone should dress up and there will be a prize for best dressed. Could everyone please please comment if they are coming before lunch time tomorrow so I can let you know the cost and know how much stuff to get. Thanks

01.01.2022 What a successful weekend for 1st Caringbah! Finally, a special thank you to our venturer Jack Millett and Christopher Ward (Venturer Leader, 1st Picnic Point) for their time and efforts in designing and implementing the Boree Regatta Venturer Program. To be a recipient of the BP Trophy for the weekend is an awesome achievement especially before your upcoming 18th birthday, Jack. The unit is sad to see you go with Halloween being your last night but with the skills you h...ave developed and demonstrated time and again, you are most certainly ready for the world of Rovers and beyond! Congratulations on achieving the BP Trophy!

01.01.2022 Each year Scout Groups across the State have proudly participated in local ANZAC Day ceremonies and parades. Current restrictions around gatherings mean we are ...unable to do this in 2020. This year we’re inviting members from all Groups and all Sections to participate in our Camp@Home ANZAC 2020 Experience. To register for the event visit: https://bit.ly/snswanzacexperience Set up your own ANZAC campsite at home, enjoy camp activities and participate in the ANZAC Day end of your driveway Vigil on the morning of 25 April. You can also complete challenges to earn the 2020 Their Service, Our Heritage badge and the Camp@Home ANZAC Experience 2020 badge. ANZAC Day is an important annual event and a timely opportunity to bring together our Scouting community to commemorate, show respect and gain a deeper understanding about ANZAC Day and those who have served and currently serve Australia.
