13.01.2022 Hi All! Celebrate Mooroolbark are calling for people to join its VOLUNTEER SUPPORT TEAM. This is a GREAT WAY to learn the ropes of how a festival comes together, without taking on a large role. As well as being involved in your local community, meeting new people and being part of a team. The Support Team will provide assistance to the committee as needed, in areas such as email/tech support, running errands or being available to bounce ideas in a particular area.... When needed, a committee member will message our Support Team to find out who is willing and able to assist with a particular task. You will be hugely appreciated in easing the pressure on our hardworking committee. The main requirement is that you attend our committee meetings, currently held on Zoom, so that you are in the loop with planning and meet everyone. They are on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6.30pm, increasing to fortnightly and then weekly as the festival nears. Ie. 15 October 2020 19 November 2020 10 December 2020 21 January 2021 11 February 2021 25 February 2021 4 March 2021 11 March 2021 18 March 2021 Plus the festival date (or dates as the case may be in 2021 due to ensuring a COVID-safe festival) And the review meeting.
