25.01.2022 This mornings job was a very neglected Gas Wall Furnace! We needed to pull this one down to get behind the heat exchanger and give it a proper clean Showing how dirty it was in the pics attached....there was an electrical fan switch under all that fluff We fitted a new thermostat so the heater could be set to temp, a new dial so the customer could see what temperature they were setting it to, and a new fan capacitor to increase the fan speeds! The heater now runs like n...ew. And what’s even better, all this for just $220inc

17.01.2022 We come across countless cracked heat exchangers in ducted heating units. Usually after 6+ years and hundreds of thousands units later the manufacturers realise their poor design and quickly move to improve the design and rectify the issue. This one is from a 9 year old Brivis Wombat and it’s definitely one of the worst cracks I’ve come across in one of these units! Where is it now? In the scrap metal bin where it belongs!

We had quite a few calls and messages over the weekend and were lucky enough to fix most of them remotely, so if you have any queries about your Gas Heater, we are more than happy to take your call or message to discuss your issue - and of course we do not charge for this service!! 12.01.2022 New celdek pads (also known as filters) fitted this afternoon in Eaglehawk. We fitted 100mm thick pads, up from 75mm standard pads. Thicker pads = more water = cooler air... The homeowner will now follow our protocol allowing the pads to saturate quickly and stay that way throughout the summer day.

08.01.2022 A Negative pressure test completed by us recently was a clear fail The smoke should be getting drawn up that diverter, not pushed back into the room. We installed a ceiling vent in the room which was then ducted to the eave of the house and eliminated the negative pressure environment! ... Safe and affordable!

07.01.2022 Our most common issue EVERY SUMMER is split Bonaire Dump Valves. This causes significant water pouring down the drain or onto the roof from the cooler. We are stocked up with dump valves, solenoids, pumps etc. ... If your controller looks similar to this and is losing a lot of water, switch it off and switch the power to the house off for just a few seconds. This should stop the water leak.. then give us a call
