20.01.2022 followed by all of these....

19.01.2022 New landscaping job completed recently with new Buffalo turf, edging, gardens, planting design and lighting. The lighting showcases this garden in the evening and is now something the clients are proud to call home. We loved turning this almost unusable garden into something the kids and big kids can explore and enjoy. Low maintenance and spacious. Topped with veggie garden and fire pit area for these cooler evenings.

19.01.2022 Weve just completed a number of display homes out at Box Hill and the best thing about doing them is the innovation of different materials used and the features that are created throughout the gardens. Here we have used Cor-ten steel as a retaining wall. The surface oxidation of weathering steel forms a stable rust-like appearance after exposure to weather.

19.01.2022 Front yard landscaping complete, were also currently working on the backyard which will be completed soon! Retaining walls, steps, new lawns and gardens, very neat and tidy #retainingwalls #stairs #landscapedesign #landscaping #frontentry #changeofscenerylandscapes @ Mulgoa Rise

09.01.2022 we recently received some information from one of our suppliers Grechs Turf Supplies and we thought we would pass it on to our followers... some good tips for spring HOW TO PREPARE YOUR LAWN FOR SPRING: Winter is finally over, (ALTHOUGH YOU WOULDNT KNOW IT!) which means its time to start thinking about spring projects, such as your lawn.... Winter weather can leave your grass, shrubs and trees weak and hungry, especially after months of cold weather. If you want your lawn to come back fuller and lusher than ever, follow these simple tips. 1. Do some cleaning. The first step to prepping your lawn for spring is to clean up the leaves, twigs and other debris that have gathered over the winter. Debris can get stuck in your lawn mower, and it will block fertilisers and other materials from being properly absorbed by the lawn. Raking works well, but air blowers are even easier. 2. Apply fertiliser, pre-emergent and weed killer. Early in spring, use a combination of fertiliser, which feeds your grass, and a pre-emergent herbicide used to prevent weeds. Then, six to eight weeks later, apply both products again, along with a broadleaf weed killer. You dont want to let the weeds come up or youll be fighting them all season. Oxafert, a lawn care product that offers a combination of pre-emergent and weed killer in one application, which will lower your cost and the time it takes to apply them. 3. Mow early, mow often. One of the big mistakes homeowners make is only mowing once a week in the spring. If you let the grass grow too high and then cut it, it stunts the roots, so they cant reproduce properly. Instead, mow every five days for the first six weeks of spring, depending on the weather, to ensure a thicker, fuller lawn. HAPPY MOWING EVERYONE!

07.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone! Stay safe, stay home, enjoy the simple things

05.01.2022 Heres a sneak peak of what weve been up to lately, a few finishing touches to go - stay tuned... displays @clarendon_homes Landscape design by @ecodesign.landscapes

05.01.2022 It’s a turf laying kind of day! Let’s roll it out...

04.01.2022 FURTHER UPDATE FROM SYDNEY WATER REGARDING WATER RESTRICTIONS.... thanks to our one of our suppliers Reece Irrigation & Pools for sharing this info! LAWNS AND GARDENS: YOU CAN:... Water lawns and gardens with a watering can or bucket Water lawns and gardens by hand held hose before 10am or after 4pm, as long as your hose is fitted with a trigger nozzle Water new turf for one week after its delivered as long as you follow the instructions provided by the turf supplier YOU CANT: Use standard sprinklers and watering systems at any time Leave hoses and taps running unattended Q. CAN I USE SPRINKLERS OR WATERING SYSTEMS? Regular sprinklers and watering systems will not be allowed under water restrictions, except for drip irrigation systems which release water very slowly (in drips) and therefore use small amounts of water. You can use smart watering systems incorporating controllers that automatically adjust watering based on soil moisture and/or weather condition information. These systems are professionally installed by irrigation experts - LIKE US :) Change of Scenery Landscapes - and are programmed to operate efficiently. TURF Q. IM LAYING NEW TURF, DO I NEED A PERMIT? Understandably, new turf needs more water than an established turf. An automatic exclusion applies to all customers who buy new turf. The exclusion allows you to water your new turf area only (not the area around it as well) for one week from the date on the delivery docket according to the watering instructions provided by the turf supplier. After the initial week has elapsed, you can water with a hand-held hose with a trigger nozzle before 10am and after 4pm. In some cases, additional consideration may be available to extend the establishment period. If you have questions about water use during water restrictions call Sydney Water on 13 20 92 or visit sydneywater.com.au/restrictions
