QLD has now moved to Stage 2 of the Government Roadmap to Recovery from COVID-19, what this means for Swimming pools is that we can operate under compliance of an Approved COVIDsafe Management Plan. ... The Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre advocacy group for QLD submitted an industry management plan last Thursday for approval by the Chief Health Officer. We are anticipating the feedback over the next few days. We will continue to keep you all up to date as things progress. So check in to our social platforms, the tide is turning! We are cleaning venues and setting up for your return! We are super excited, so stay tuned!

05.01.2022 Dear Aquatic Members, Our warm showers and changing rooms are back open! So well done QLD, our strong health response to COVID-19 means we are well positioned for recovery. The Easing of COVID-19 restrictions means, from Friday Midday (12pm), you can utilise the venue assets as you did previously! Contact Tracing details are still required as is Social Distancing, so let’s be mindful of each other. We are now working to the Stage 3 management plan, where the increased capacit...y will be clearly identified at your venue.
