25.01.2022 Judes update 14/8/2020 It may not seem much to some people but what an amazing day Jude has had! Today handyman Andrew (yet to confirm his business name Lol) popped in to have a look at a few things that require doing, met Jude, took some measurements and is coming back Monday with materials to fix a few things (will update Andrews progress then).... A huge thank you to Denise Ellen who donated the fan/light to replace the broken one hanging out of the roof. A major thank you to Lucas (Luke) Bale from Park Orchards Electrical from Nagambie who came today to install the fan/light. While there he also replaced the exhaust fan in the toilet and the circuit breakers to the house. Jude was so overwhelmed by the generosity of all that have contributed to todays efforts and so are we! Luke and Andrew were just amazing and we cannot thank you both enough for giving up your time today. Below are a couple of pics of what was done today.

24.01.2022 Judes update 28.10.2020 For all those following Judes story line we apologise for there being such a delay in an update. We have been flat knacker with work and pop in to check on Jude as often as we can.... I would like to thank MIDDYS for donating an exhaust fan/light and heater all In one for Judes bathroom (see pic) A huge thank you to Rhys from Kagan electrical for installing it for her. Rhys also replaced wiring for her antenna as she had no signal what so ever due to water damage. We have organised her a portable hard drive which has all the old original movies (wizard of oz, Pinocchio, Elvis movies, Shirley temple and much much more) So she’s been enjoying kicking back watching some movies while we have been busy... I think she’s enjoyed the break she now has block our blinds for all her main rooms so she’s loving it lol Also a massive thank you to Tess Knight who home makes yummy meals for Jude every week. Little Jude is looking plump and well fed We still have a bit to do and Jude is never out of our minds (we stop in a few times a week) but we knew this wasn’t going to be a small job that could be done in a day, it was always going to take time... 23.01.2022 Heating and cooling update for Jude! 12/9/2020 Wow! What a day its been for Jude! A massive thank you to Kagan electrical for installing Judes new split system this morning!... A huge thank you to all that has donated towards this! We have been overwhelmed with so much generosity that we have been able to supply and install the split system and will have funds remaining to replace the decking and possibly more!!! Jude was almost in tears when the heater kicked in and warmed up her lounge room within minutes, she said she cant remember the last time she felt so warm in her house. Clean sweep would like to wish everyone an amazing weekend and thank you all again for ur kind and wonderful donations.

21.01.2022 COVID UPDATE Please be aware that as the Mitchell shire goes into lockdown Clean Sweep will remain operational. We ask our clients who have bookings with us to adhere by the following:... *please cancel your booking with us with as much notice as possible if you or your children are feeling sick or unwell. *we will cancel our bookings with you if our staff or staffs children are feeling sick or unwell. *if you are home during your booking please try and stay out of the room that our staff are in, if this isnt possible please adhere to social distancing of 1.5m. Even though Mitchell shire is going into lockdown there are only minimal Cases in the area and none reported in the places we have bookings so by doing the right thing we can all remain safe and happy.

21.01.2022 UPDATE- today we picked up the oven and dropped it around to the house to be installed by the plumber she was shocked and almost in tears knowing that she would be able to cook meals again soon!!! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! We are looking for a gas oven to install in one of our elderly clients house. We have been helping her to get her house back to a liveable standard. This client hasnt had an oven for a long time so it doesnt need to be anything flash, just safe and In wor...king order. We are helping her from our own pockets so anything cheap or free or if anyone would be willing to donate one you would be making an old lady feel alive again. We will also be needing a smallish Buffett/hutch for the kithcen, some vaneishan blinds and eventually a smallish wood heater (we threw out over 20 broken energy sucker heaters out the other day... ) Also 2 baby gates would be awesome to Keep the dogs out of destroying rooms with carpet Please help us by sharing this post to get this post out there!!

19.01.2022 When your booking cancels your end of lease at 7pm the night before and your freaking out!!! Bit of shuffling around with kids and other jobs but looks like it will be a long day for us tomorrow!!

17.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE 25/8/2020 Wow! What a day we have had!! Firstly a huge thank you to Anthony from Clymac Construction for installing Judes new (to Jude anyways) oven! ... A massive thank you to our wonderful handyman Andrew from Cashys Earthworks and Maintenance who again donated his time and installed a heater on the wall in Judes bedroom, handles on the draws in the kitchen, fitted some blinds and fixed the security door. A big thank you to Cindy Bartlett for her donation of tea towels, oven mitts, mugs and dinner set (see pics). Jude absolutely loves them! A gigantic thank you to Jake and Jackson for their help outside ripping out blackberry bushes, shrubs, over grown rose bushes, mowed, weeded and removed a massive trailer load of metal. And of course the crew at clean sweep! All you girls have a heart of gold.

17.01.2022 To be tagged in this post by one of our clients is such a beautiful feeling. Yes at times we do feel like just a cleaner and that we have to justify why we do this job. At times the only contact you get from someone after a job is just negative....... It can be a very unrewarding job at times And our own houses get neglected because by the time we get home we are exhausted and dont want to clean lol... Its nice to feel appreciated and that the hard work and dedication we pry ourselves on isnt going unnoticed

16.01.2022 Todays job- We were asked to remove some bushes and trees (no gardening work just removal of plants). Was a big job but the client was extremely happy!!

15.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE 20/8/2020 Handyman Andrew returned to judes on Monday and has done an amazing job! I cannot thank him enough, he sealed up all the windows that was leaking air, fixed all the doors that wouldnt close/lock and replaced the fly wire on the back door. The house is so much warmer and Jude is over the moon!!! Please see attached Andrews business card if you ever need any work done! Cannot recommend him highly enough!!... A huge thank you to Kylie Seeger for donating a brand new saucepan set for Jude. A massive thank you to Sharni Cognlan who has donated a beautiful kitchen table and chairs. Clean sweep has donated a brand New cutlery set. Jude is overwhelmed by the generosity of complete strangers. Thank you all for your continued support

Sometimes you just have to give back to the ones who have no support and no money. Something all the staff at clean sweep take very seriously We hope all our clients are enjoying the beautiful sunshine

08.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE 31/08/2020 WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WOULD BE ABLE TO SAND THE FLOORS, OR WHO COULD AT LEAST LEND US A FLOOR SANDER TO SAVE HIRING ONE - thank you to renaes family day care for donating this ALSO LOOKING FOR SOMONE TO STEAM CLEAN THE CARPET IN 2 BEDROOMS... On Friday the crew went back to Judes and patched up around the house so that the dogs couldnt get out of the yard, took down a dangerous tree, replaced the outside step, removed the carpet from the hall (see photos) and installed a towel holder in the bathroom. Clean sweep would like to thank the following people for their help/donations towards this huge task. Jackson and Jake for their hard work onsite. Chloe fox for donating this gorgeous cabinet (see pics) Renaes family day care for this thoughtful package including towels, mugs and some food (see pics). Julie Shelley for supplying a bin and dish rack for the kitchen. Natasha and daughter for Judes new roasting pan and homemade card. The card had her all emotional, as she cant recall the last time she recieved one

08.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE 9/9/2020 Today our beautiful electrician Luke returned and installed a tv point in Judes bedroom and a few power points to make things a bit easier and safer. The crew cleaned the lounge room from top to bottom (pics to come later). It actually looked like it has been renovated it came up so well!... We fixed Judes clothesline and showed her how to use her new dryer we supplied for her. Over time the crew has also worked on the outside of the house removing dangerous trees, shrubs, blackberries, weeds and more. Below is before and after pics of the front of Judes house. Judes dog Shamus approves of our visit. (See pic for explanation)

07.01.2022 Im pleased to advise that today we (with some help from friends) spent a few hours at our elderly clients house doing some cleaning and sorting a few things out. Jude loves her new tv unit that was donated to her, and her freezer has now been defrosted so she can store some proper food. The electrician is coming Friday to install her new light/fan.... The handyman is coming Friday to seal up the leaks in the windows and fix her front door so it can be locked properly. The plumber is going tomorrow or Thursday to install the oven for her. Below are some pics of the back room that we guttered and scrubbed the walls from top to bottom, we also started on cleaning the toilet and we installed a new toilet roll holder for her.

07.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE 3/09/2020 The crew at clean sweep have been back at it again. On Wednesday all the carpet in the lounge was ripped out (pics to come), blinds were put up, more trees were removed and the bathroom was deep cleaned (the roof is next time).... Check out the pics below of the bathroom.... and for the record there was no photoshopping of any of the pics lol even though it may look like it lol.

06.01.2022 JUDES UPDATE CONTINUED The lounge room pics (not the best quality lol) of before we guttered it and after and also her new blockout curtains. This has made the house so much warmer and private for her!... Shes loving her new look so far.... were not finished yet though.....

05.01.2022 UPDATE- WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A PLUMBER WHO CAN ASSIST ASAP. SHES SUPER EXCITED ABOUT HAVING AN OVEN BUT SAD SHES STILL BEEN UNABLE TO USE IT. Please let me know if u can assist. PLUMBERS AND ELECTRICIANS PLEASE READ!! We are trying to help an elderly lady fix up her home so it is safe for her to live in, the state of the house is currently quite detrimental to her health. So we are are doing this as a love job because no one deserves to live like that and not have any he...lp. We are taking care of furniture, floors, Cleaning, gardens/lawns and whatever else we can do to help however there are Things out of our skill and qualification range. PLUMBERS- we are asking if there is anyone out there willing to donate their time and disconnect her old oven and install the second hand oven we have supplied to her. Its all at her address ready to go, we will dispose of the old oven if necessary. She has not had an oven in years and couldnt believe we had sourced another one for her. It is a gas oven. ELECTRICIAN- we are wondering if at all possible would you supply and fit a ceiling fan with a light, the one currently there is hanging out of the roof and she has no light in the lounge room. If your not able to supply it but happy to install it please Let us know and we will organize to get One for you to install. UPDATE- A LOVELY LADY HAS OFFERED TO DONATE THE FAN/LIGHT SO JUST REQUIRE IT TO BE INSTALLED I know this is a huge ask for local businesses during these times and we would understand if no one is able to help. But as we are not qualified in these areas we have had to reach out. Please let me know if you are able to assist in any way. She is in Broadford Thanks
