19.01.2022 We are an alternative to business model voluntourism and are completely not-for-profit. We offer maximum impact to the communities we serve with the lowest cost to volunteers. We are transparent on all costs and will divide the total cost by the number of travelling volunteers. We will be running a triple clinic to include Dentistry, Medicine and Optometry in either PNG or Uganda tentative June 14th-28th 2020, please contact us if youd like to volunteer your time, help with planning or donate money/supplies/equipment. We should have deductible gift receipt status shortly. Thanks for your support!

14.01.2022 Back in June, Oasis Dental Studio was proud to have the opportunity to donate to an amazing project in Uganda by Ryan Kungl, 3rd year student of Griffith Bach...elor of Oral Health in Dental Science. Clinics for Kids was established as a response to the critical need for quality health care for children living in difficult to access and underserved communities globally. This project involved the examination of more than a thousand children, hundreds of dental cleanings and emergency care as well as educational activities targeting prevention including oral health assemblies and brushing workshops. Ryan is in the process of building Clinics for Kids into a permanent non-profit company, and is working on a trip to Ghana and another trip to Uganda in 2020. You can read more about Ryans amazing efforts here: https://www.cvent.com/p/eMarketing/Pages/WebEmail_New.aspx Get in touch with Ryan if youd like to support his future projects: https://au.linkedin.com/in/ryankungl

03.01.2022 Clinics for Kids visited 4 schools in Uganda, Africa for 2 weeks in June 2019 to treat children aged 5 to 13 years old. The Clinics for Kids Uganda team included Ryan Kungl, 3rd year student of Griffith Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science, Dr. Ajitha Sugnanam, Dentist and student of Griffith Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery and Dr. Linh Quach, Dentist and owner of Bonfire Dental. Over the 2 weeks the team performed 1,000 + examinations, 300+ dental cleaning...s, 300+ emergency treatments. The first project was such a success that there is now a plan to run a triple clinic in June 2020, which would include medicine and optometry as well as dentistry. We appreciate the time and commitment from both Dr Ajitha Sugnanam and Dr Linh Quach, without whom this project couldnt have run, or been a complete success. Seeing first-hand the gross inequities faced by these communities made me realize that there is so much more work left to do.
