24.01.2022 The Milky Way over the Barwon Heads Bluff walking track shot 2. In my previous post i had a shot like this, but it had light trails down the track. I think i like this shot better without the light trails. I also used less power painting light with this shot. Which shot do you like better? This one or the one with the light trails. 24.01.2022 I made my way down to lake Elizabeth in the Otways very early this morning. I was not happy with the conditions so i started to walk back and i could here the sound of the water flowing in the river which i had to climb down a steep embankment to even see it. So i carefully made my way down there and found this little gem of a spot to photograph. I love finding hidden gems to photograph. Fun times. 15/05/20. 23.01.2022 The Milky Way above the Barwon Heads Bluff walking track. I took this shot at 2am this morning. I decided to do some light painting for the foreground and i used my LED light panel and i ran with my LED light panel up the track to light up the foreground. After i done that i checked the back of the camera and there was a blue light trail in the shot. Only then i realized that on the back of my LED there is a blue light which displays the number of the brightness. 22.01.2022 The 2020 Geminid meteor shower put on an awesome show after 1am this morning. I took my 10 year old daughter with me and we spent around 4 hours watching the shower and it was awesome. To see my daughter getting so excited when she spotted one was priceless. We would of easily seen well over 60 meteors in the 4 hours we spent watching them. This photo with the awesome old tree was taken in the Mount Moriac area at 3am this morning. The tree was lit up from a car driving past. 14/12/20. 16.01.2022 "Galactic Road" I decided to create this image from multiple images. The foreground was photographed recently in the Gnarwarre area in Vic and the milkyway was photographed last year and i stacked 20 milkyway images together to reduce noise with Sequator and blended the images together for this final image.

16.01.2022 I have tried for 4 years to capture a lightning bolt over the old pier pylons at Clifton Springs and this afternoon i finally got my wish and captured a nice lightning bolt over the pylons. 15.01.2022 The Milky Way over Lake Elizabeth in the Otways. I have wanted to do this shot for a long time and last night i done it. This shot was taken at around 10pm last night and i even took my brave 10 year old daughter with me on the 1 hour return hike in the pitch black to get to and from the lake. It was an amazing experience with my daughter watching the Milky Way rise from this spot. On the way back we even got to see some glow worms. I call my daughter Astro Girl now lol. 15/5/20. 12.01.2022 A ripper lightning bolt over the Geelong Waterfront. I took this shot early this evening. Straight after this shot it bucketed down so i jumped back into my car. 11/11/20.

11.01.2022 Some nice colour in the sky early this morning during sunrise down at the Point Lonsdale lighthouse. I was awake at 3am this morning so that was when i made the decision to go to Point Lonsdale to photograph a sunrise. Ripper morning for it. 21/11/20.

10.01.2022 A wicked sunrise this morning over Eagle Rock at Aireys Inlet. This would have to be one of the best sunrises i have seen and photographed. The funny thing is that i did not plan on going out this morning but my 3 year old son was jumping on me at 4am and woke me up and woke my wife up as well. 09.01.2022 Another shot of the Milky Way over Lake Elizabeth in the Otways. During taking this there was some low fog over the lake. If ya zoom in ya might see the fog. It was one of the most fun astro shoots i have done. My 10 year old daughter was with me and she loved it. Tho she got scared a few times from noises in the bush. 03.01.2022 The Milky Way over the St George River in Lorne. This was taken at 2.15am this morning. I waited for over 1 hour for a car to come along the Great Ocean Rd so i could capture the light trails from a car. No cars came along the road so i had to run over to my car and drive along the road myself to get the light trails and then drive back. Fun times and well worth it. 27/3/20. 03.01.2022 The milky way above a windmill in the Barrabool Hills in Ceres, Vic. I have been trying to get this shot for some time now and last night produced the goods with perfectly clear skies and i was pumped. I used my LED light to paint light onto the windmill. Off to the left side of the image you can see a large canola field.
