08.01.2022 Sicily 2019..what an honour meeting Maria Grammatico in Erice yesterday. Maria, at the age of 11 was sent to the cloistered San Carlo orphanage. Here Maria had a very hard life but turned a negative into a very powerful positive. Her patisserie shop is very famous but above all, at 80 years of age, Maria is still a strong part of the business, working along side her employees with a golden smile and nothing is to much trouble. What an amazing human being.
