Thank you so much to the wonderful seniors within our communities within the Coomalie Council, the work you do go unnoticed a lot of the time, so again we thank you for everything you do.... 01.01.2022 COUNCIL RANGER PART TIME - 3 DAYS PER WEEK Grade 5/6 Under the direction of the Works and Services Manager, the Council Ranger will be responsible for safeguarding the health and safety of residents and visitors to the Coomalie Shire by actively identifying animal control issues and general By-Law breaches relating to residential properties or activities on Council controlled land, and taking appropriate action.... The Council Ranger will work in a safe manner having regard for the environment, self and others. The position will contribute to the implementation of Council’s workplace health and safety and environmental management policies, actively participate in the development of a positive workplace culture, and proactively promote Council and its programs and services to the community. The Council Ranger will be required from time to time to respond to after hours call outs as directed. All Council employees are required to undertake an induction process which includes a police check, and medical examination.
