06.01.2022 Lovely perspective on Cosy Corner Beach. Just a short walk through the bush from the apartment. Or an even shorter drive:)

06.01.2022 Just another day on the South West Edge... We woke to the sound of rain on the roof as another shower drifted over Torbay Hill. It rained again while we had breakfast in Denmark, and despite the forecast, that was the last we saw of the rain all day. We went west through the Tingle forests and past Walpole. It was a long time since we had seen Fernhook Falls with more than a trickle and the big rains a few weeks ago should be feeding into Deep River by now. Beardmore Road was... in better condition than anticipated and we were there in no time. The flow over the falls was good and Rowell’s Pool looked like a fantasy with its swirling forest froth. We took a look around the excellent shelters and campsites before heading further east. We tossed a coin to see if a climb up Mount Frankland or lunch would win and the climb came a close second. So we wound our way down the beautiful North Walpole Road through towering Karri and rolling farmland back into Walpole for a late, but fresh, seafood lunch. A good day out. See more

05.01.2022 A beautiful afternoon for a walk to Cosy Corner Beach. Local bottlebrush flowering along the path that winds through the bush. Water in the creek, too. Unusual at this time of year.
