Thanks to Andrew at Bellarine Country Butchers & the Beeston family who donated some wonderful meat for our food delivery program. This delicious meat is being cooked into yummy dishes for us to deliver to people in the local community.

Its been freezing cold in Queenscliff and the team have had to adapt to a whole range of new ways of working with masks, increased hygiene and social distancing. Theyre doing it and our courtyard is coming up a treat!

18.01.2022 Through March to November, 2020 we kept in contact with the children online. Then we were back in full swing, offering tailored children's programs to support children's wellbeing. With a short break over Christmas and New Year, our camps resumed this week. We are solidly booked with camps for between 20 and 50 children for the rest of the year. We are also continuing to offer respite to families at our Riptide facility.

He is a founding partner of Pitcher Partners and sits on many advisory boards. He is passionate about the Cottage and it heritage as an enduring part of Queenscliff. Don spends his summers in Point Lonsdale and loves to visit through out the year (when he can).

13.01.2022 This week Cottage by the Sea surpassed 10,000 meals delivered to the local community since we began our emergency Food Relief program in March 2020. Chef Marc and our programs team have done an amazing job!

12.01.2022 Thanks Drysdale Football Netball Club for supplying us with frozen food from their kitchen, including 67 chicken schnitzels that have been transformed into healthy frozen meals for our community.

06.01.2022 We have achieved another significant milestone in our renovation with the installation of glass, enclosing the new double storey deck. We cant wait to share this cosy space and beautiful views with the children. This spectacular multipurpose space and dining area, as well as so many other fantastic improvements to our 80 year old building have been made possible by the kind donations from our community as well as funding from the Australian Government through the Building Better Regions Fund. 03.01.2022 Local artist Lavinia Cuming is the great niece of one of Cottage by the Sea's founding ladies, Elizabeth Calder. On the Saturday & Sunday of the Labour Day weekend, Lavinia Cuming will be hosting an exhibition and art sale at The Dower House Gallery, Point Lonsdale. Water colour paintings, calendars, cards and prints will be on sale with proceeds going to Cottage by the Sea to support our children's programs.... Over 130 years ago Elizabeth Calder and Annie Hitchcock were inspired to establish Cottage by the Sea as a place for children to enjoy a holiday. Children who would otherwise miss out on such a simple opportunity for happiness. Their legacy has continued to offer generations of children a place to have fun, be young and create happy memories.
