This 14th day of September is Dads birthday. ... He was a renowned sports journalist who was gifted, passionate and hard working. He was also a professional athlete and a very successful coach. Integrity and honesty were his trademarks. He travelled the world covering a variety of sporting events through television, radio and print media. The words he told us when he returned from Brisbane in 1982, still resounds in our ears, Of all the countries I have visited, Australia is the best place to live in.
