24.01.2022 R32 GTR- twin Charged setup with a Dry sump pump where the turbo should go. How to fit it all under the bonnet ?? No worries that’s what CRG does. Not the usual Pro Mod. Twin scroll with twin gates all very high to allow room for the 4 stage dry sump pump.... -G42-1450 -Plus a super charger -Plus a dry sump pump -2x Turbosmart wastegates made to plumb in. There certainly is not much room to get it wrong. Fortunately the car is a race car so will Be running electric power steer and no AC which meant we had that small Amount of room to play with for the gates. The manifold is heading home with the top wastegate port taped in place so the fab guys building the car to make sure the position is right before welding it on as we couldn’t be sure. It also has 6 x EGR sensor ports and 6x EGTs in the box for the guys to fit when the manifold is in the car. 24.01.2022 Tuff Trucks sounding good!! This beast of a near new F150 powered by the Coyote 5.0 V8 came to us with a big brand US made exhaust system on it. Quoting the owner it’s embarrassingly loud to drive.... We removed the expensive US exhaust and made a new 3 1/2 system from the factory cat Ypipe back. Dual stainless steel Mufflers into dual shotgun style 3 1/2 tips Gone is the raspy loud embarrassing note. Now it has a super tuff deep and strong V8 burble that sounds fantastic when you floor It but cant hear it at all with the windows up. 16.01.2022 Bit of an exotic one. Loz brought his 911 in for us to tidy up a few little rattles in the exhaust. The rattles were identified as a blown exhaust header gasket leaking on 1 cylinder and several broken hangers rattling.... Unfortunately we also found some of the noises were coming from the internally baffled mufflers and the cats that had failed and collapsed internally. So we put together a new setup With metal cats and welded end cap good quality straight through mufflers. We ended up remaking most of the exhaust as there was several unnecessary bends with awkward angles on the existing piping that were hard to work with. The end result is a super crisp note from the 6cyl boxer with a quieter idle and cruise. 12.01.2022 Check out this tuff VK Commodore. Built frying tyres this big V8 with a huge blower to be added came in for custom 2 headers. Made From mild steel, custom cut head plates, 2 mandrel bends, rig welded, 4 into 1 collectors. All individual pipes and individual header plates as room was a major issue with the 2 bends to stay away from the shaved and smoothed engine bay... There’s nothing stopping this beast from shredding tyres!!!! Thats why our customer came to us many years ago to work with Chris to organise this build ... -Engineer approved Twin Turbo, mod plated and registered. Codes LA3, LS4, LS6 and LH6 -Mirrored GTX3582 Pro Boost twin Turbos. -4 into 1 Collector Tubular 40nb Pro Mod manifolds. -Custom CNC rectangle port to 40nb round transitions made for us by a leading V8 supercar team engineer. -Twin Turbosmart 50mm Wastegates plumbed in. -3 Inch dump pipes with Flexi’s and Cats back to the existing dual 3 inch exhaust. -Teknofibra Heat shield on the strut towers, Ceramic coated manifolds, Titanium wrapped dump pipes and turbine housing beanies. -Custom intercooler piping with oval flare into Whipple Throttle body. -PWR Alloy radiator customised to suit AN fittings one side, repositioned and extended outlet on the other. The biggest dictator of this whole build has been the available space for everything to go. Tuff engine mounts were used to create room for the manifolds and 3 inch dump pipes to pass under the heads and over the front cradle, this is where every other car we have ever seen with turbos in these positions have had to use log style manifolds to make it fit. We made this work by utilising CNC drawing, calculations and machining plus custom making everything. 03.01.2022 How to build an F truck and not just mount a bulbar!!! Some weeks ago we made a custom cat back for this big F150 with the Coyote 5 litre V8. This visit spiced things up some... More. Installed was a stage 2 Supercharger kit by Whipple Superchargers with remote tuning from the the guys at Whipple in the USA. The kit bolted on well, some very minor differences but baring in mind the car is right hand drive converted it all went well. Standard these engine make 220hp and the wheels through the 10 speed auto at around 5700rpm with 390nm of torque The beast is now rocking 460 hp at the wheels at 7000rpm and a cracking 870 of torque. Whipple Quote around 725 engine horsepower. This is one quick truck now. The Effy also had an airbag rear End installed to aid in weight management when towing. The onboard compressor with in cabin switches and gauges for drivers seat airbag pump up and release. We also installed an air outlet to use for tyre pressures and any auxiliary compressed air needs.
