25.01.2022 Thank you so much everyone for your efforts and support this weekend! In addition to cash donations, I will also be donating non-perishables (eyedrops, lip balm, sanitary items, band-aids, hand-sanitiser etc) to our local drop off points (they have asked for this specifically), and hopefully a blood donation too (I got a blood test last week and seeing my GP for follow-up tomorrow so if it’s all good, I’ll make an appt). Besides the donation, non of this would be possible without your support of my business in general, not just today and yesterday. I am so humbled by and grateful for all that we’ve been able to achieve. Next up, @cfavic!

21.01.2022 As I’m sure you’ve heard, in the next 48 hours NSW among other states will be imposing a lockdown of all non-essential services. Luckily it appears that freight and logistics are considered essential so I will continue dispatching your orders daily. I anticipate this will put a huge strain on our postal services so please allow for delays. I believe all deliveries are now contactless and automatically given authority to leave if there is a safe place. I assume Post Offices will also be open for collection (if the courier was unable to safe-drop). If there are any further changes I will provide updates here and via email to those affected. Thank you

14.01.2022 I once went to the toilet with my speaking microphone turned on. The audience heard it all. My first employee was someone I made up (Sally from Accounts) beca...use I was too scared to chase up on overdue bills myself. I didn't realise I had to set aside the GST portion I was adding to invoices and as a result, owed the tax office a massive amount of money. Yes, it's been paid now. I was a finalist for the NSW Premier’s Women of the Year and the invite said the event was at Parliament House. So, I booked flights to Canberra. Turns out the NSW Awards were in the Parliament House located in, as the name would suggest, Sydney, NEW SOUTH WALES. I wandered around Parliament House in Canberra for an HOUR before I figured it out. Why would I share these business f*ck ups? Well, it’s January. And, hopefully, you have some big goals mapped out. Maybe you have some big plans in place for your business (or maybe you want to start your own business!). And maybe you’re feeling a bit scared about how it’s all gonna pan out. Maybe you’re afraid you’re gonna stuff it all up. I’m here to say this: Maybe you will! And maybe that’s OK. Here’s the thing: Everyone makes mistakes. Even the world’s most game changing and influential business people - Marie Forleo, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Turia Pitt (I’m kidding, I’m obviously just the most successful ) make mistakes. In fact, making mistakes is part of the deal. Because the fact that you’ve made a mistake means that you’re trying. You’re ambitious. You’ve got goals. That’s something to celebrate! Go big this year. Don’t worry about stuffing up. 05.01.2022 We will be driving to Byron for a short family holiday on the 19th of Jan, returning on the 24th. While we want to minimise time spent on the road, we also want to stop and spend at the many towns between Sydney and BB that have been affected by the fires. 01.01.2022 As many of you know, a large number of our brands are imported directly from overseas. With the Australian Dollar continuously slipping as well as limited freight carriers still flying international, it has and will be difficult to re-stock some of the pieces that you know and love. This includes: Raduga Grëz, Little Lights, Moon Picnic, The Wandering Workshop and many others. For most of these brands, it is unlikely we will restock this year. We are also suspending all international orders at this time. I don’t want this to come across as fear-mongering as no toy should be considered an essential item (and my advice is to save your money) but I just wanted to explain as I do get a lot of questions regarding when we will be restocking certain brands/products. Thank you for understanding
