25.01.2022 Cant wait to see the QBCC's faces when we try to explain to them that a surf board is an actual MFR asset for an ABN trader. As it is not a Personal Water Craft (PWC) nor is self propelling.... Not to mention that prepaid yearly insurances should be considered an asset.... :-) interesting days ahead,,,, Want to know more - please ask the team....

23.01.2022 For those whom have trusts, we have dug up an article from late last year that summaries some relevant issues and provide below for your reading... as for discretionary trusts ,,,please consult your advisers as it is again different.... https://www.bdo.com.au//are-trusts-friend-or-foe-for-qbcc-

21.01.2022 very very close now.... The program has been converted over the last week for tablet and phone viewing.... and rather LARGE buttons.........

20.01.2022 Practical # 601 .. okay ive decide to start going into business ... I register myself as a sole trader on the ABN system .. tick ... i also register for gst... tick done.... I ALSO go to my bank and get either a business account or an trading account... Why may you ask ? - as an ABN / sole trader i have all my information available that can be reviewed by either the QBCC or ATO (and basically who ever else)... and that leads to the possible or probable ability for these fore...nsic peoples to look at ALL my information including bank records, when and where ive bought Hungry Jacks and so forth. SO why not open up a separate bank account to which you have your claims paid to and expenses and job costs out of .. including fuel for the ute, material payments, payment of wages to yourself and to your main bank account... and thus the basis fundamentals to Accounting and further introduction to better business practices.... where records are not only separated but kept in one place... have a gr8t Friday afternoon and weekend /// P#601

06.01.2022 Well the stat's are finally published by the QBCC annual report.... and lets just have a quick look.... Okay 91,000 licensee's less 70,000 financial licensee's = 20,000 supervisors and non financial licensees. Thus there are around 15,000+supervisors licensee's. then we look at 91,000 less the 20,000 above and less 20,000 "company" licensee's is ....wait for it... 50,000 trades and builders on ABN... ... lets compare that with around 60,000+ of SC1 and SC2 licensee.... whom are self reporting. Doesn't take long to work out whom we as an industry and our legislation should be catering to ..... now does it.... oh btw - license fees equate to $44m of the QBCC's total income (pg 76). https://www.qbcc.qld.gov.au//QBCC_Annual_Report_2018-2019.

04.01.2022 We have had a couple of Alpha testers on the system of late...Debugging and testing the program.... one of them sent a late night pic, and how they were using the system on their tablet... Well didn't someone have a smile late this afternoon.... I thank those for testing, their time and well done ! could not of achieved so much in such a little time... as not long to go now...
