25.01.2022 Bagala Bungalow is now open... pew. The Cottages Crew is exausted. Photo shoot on Sunday and should be up on the website next week. Will post some pics next week. We are full untill the 18th!

24.01.2022 Just received an email from a guest... Thankyou so much I would just like to say thank you for the wonderful service I received during my stay at one of your houses. I rang and was given a room for the night. My room was excellent and your host Chole is such an asset to your service, she was friendly and provided such good service and advice on the traffic. Once again thank you I had training to attend to at Bella Vista and would stay at one of your houses again and would recommend you to my work colleagues Deborah Bailey

23.01.2022 Sad news today. Our beautiful baby girl Shiraz has been diagnosed with kidney disease. She is ok for now but I dont she will be with us for much longer

23.01.2022 We received this review on Trip advisor recently for Highclaire HOuse, this breaks my heart.... Weve stayed one night in this place and I do feel that calling it B&B does injustice to all nice B&Bs in Australia that weve been staying at in all our years of travelling. When all is said and done this place is just another hostel - standard house with thin gyprock walls between the rooms, so you hear when your neighbours take an extra deep breath, very tired bathroom that has ...been used by at least a half of Australia. At $50 a night it would be a steal, but at $100 its a highway robbery. The owners have to be congratated though on coming up with an innovative way to pay for the mortgage. However, I think they should ban the use of hair dries before 8am during the weekends out of a consideration for staying guests. As a side observation - the place advertises itself as a place for business travellers. I think that if this is an accomodation a company expects an employee to stay, then the emloyee should look for another job. My responce could be considered un professional, but I run with business with my heart and sloe..... Thankyou for staying with us. We are a traditional English style BnB which by definition is a house. We dont pretend to be something we are not. I feel very sad that you feel the need to attack my business and lively hood in this way however I guess that not everyone is as cheerful as I. I am sure that the sweet old lady whos husband passed recently who I sat and chatted for a few hours over various pots of tea, or the business people who come back week after week and love being part of our extended family, or even the man who I took to hospital one night because he was on his own with no transport would agree with 1 word you have said. My name is Zoe and I own this business, I love what we have created and I love each and every one of our amazing guests that come and stay with us. I think you are a very unkind person.

20.01.2022 Just had a really cool family from Spain arrive. So far on their trip to Oz their luggage was lost from the flight (turned up at the cottages today) and today they crashed their car. In true holiday spirits they are just laughing about it!!

19.01.2022 Chatting to a lady at breakfast this morning and she said something that just made me laugh so hard. I have never heard this expression before. She was talking and then says oh its a rare as rocking horse poo! has any one heard this before?

18.01.2022 Had the biggest laugh today. A lady came to check in, she let little Griz in the door... thinking it was someone else letting her in, I said to Griz "what are you doing in here Miss? The lady said in a little voice checking in! We both cracked up it was so funny.... what a way to be greeted...

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I am decorating Meurants Manor at the moment. One of the rooms is called La Valle Verona. I thought it might be cool to have a wall for love letters like in the real Verona. Perhaps on the inside of the cupboard and let guests add to it. I need to start things off so I am researching great love letters. Does anyone have one tucked away they would like to share??

06.01.2022 What a beautiful email I received thismorning Hello there Zoe and Steve, My name is Dallas Nitschke and my husband Shane from Adelaide. We hope this message finds you well.... My husband Shane and I stayed with you for 2 nights in early May of this year whilst I was having surgery at the Norwest Hospital. You were unbelievably kind to us and made us feel very welcome. Steve was even so kind as to drive me to the hospital on the day of my admission. Then he even picked Shane up from the hospital later in the evening whilst I stayed the night in hospital. He then returned Shane to the hospital in the morning where we flew back to the airport to come home to Adelaide. You provided Shane with a lovely breakfast and were so exceptionally wonderful. During this awfully stressful time for me it was a great source of comfort knowing that Shane was being well looked after by you very kind wonderful selves. We are needing to return to Sydney again for follow up surgery at Norwest Hospital. My admission to hospital is Tuesday morning 3rd November, 2015. We will be arriving on the Monday afternoon prior 2nd November, 2015. I will be staying in the hospital overnight on Tuesday the 3th, however Shane will need accommodation for that evening. So we will be requiring accommodation please for the nights of Monday 2nd November and Tuesday 3rd November = 2 nights. We will be checking out on Wednesday the 4th November to fly home to Adelaide. We would sincerely love to stay with you again. As I recall we previously stayed in your lovely B&B which was quite a walk down the road from the T-Way bus stop. You did mention that you had a closer B&B closer to the T-Way. For convenience we would appreciate you booking us in here. Could you please give me your best rate for this stay. 05.01.2022 I love breakfast at Highclaire House its always so fun and cosy. This week we had a bunch of guests from all over the world some Aussies for work, New Zealanders had come for the football and a Spanish dad and his daughter to start at Hillsong. Everyone was here all week and had got to know each other quite well. On Wednesday the Spanish family bought fruit for everyone. It was a great week.

05.01.2022 I am not very happy with booking.com right now. we received this review yesterday ......The actual price is much higher than displayed on booking.com. They charged me 80aud in total for 2 kids without any notification before my booking! The hostess is very unfriendly to our Chinese people. I feel terrible at the end of my journey in Australia! Dont talk with me about the breakfast. You guys will agree with me if you live in or have been in China. Do not go to this place if y...ou are a Chinese and dont want to destroy your holiday and your good impression on Australians........ This is disgusting. they booked for 4 and suck 2 extra people in. ate 5 plates of food each and stuffed more in their bags and are calling me raciest! we had a review a few months ago that said the owners have noisy children. We dont have children.......... they refused to remove that review also. Every one is entitled to a review good or bad, but if it is a lie why wont they remove it? I am really upset about this its not fair, any ideas on how to force them to remove lies? See more
