16.01.2022 hi guys, here is some bicycle news:

16.01.2022 Hi Canberra, we'll be open tomorrow after the march. Hope to see you at the march and at the workshop afterwards. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.

15.01.2022 Hey Guys, Repair Café is on again this Saturday! Bring your broken things, and see if there would be someone with the knowledge to help you fix it. We will also be opening cycle jam shed during the same time, 10am-1pm.

12.01.2022 Hey guys, our buddy group Repair Cafe is holding a clothing mending special day this Saturday! It's the usual place and time of 1000-1300. The bike shed won't be open for bike repairs during this event, but it's super awesome opportunity to learn to fix all the holes you have accumulated in your clothes thus far this year!

12.01.2022 Hey guys! We had a good and busy jam session today. Saw quite a few punctured tyres that needed some good patching. Hope we learnt a few nifty new skills. Cycle safe and until next Wednesday, peace out.

10.01.2022 Hullo Jammers! The days are now slowly warming up nicely, and it looks like spring is around the bend! Here is another post not directly bike related, but it's about the innovative problem solving that we like to do (and it probably won't be long until he starts building primitive bikes) https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-45118653

09.01.2022 Planning some cycling over easter? Cycle Jam will be running as usual on Saturday 11-1

01.01.2022 Will there be anyone around on Saturday morning who can assist a weary bike traveller? The Environment Centre has received this msg: Hi Ryan, Thank you so much, once again, for your help. Hopefully one of your bike contacts is able to help me out with this, which would be amazing.... As we’ve talked about, I'm doing a bicycle journey from the southern end of Tasmania up the east coast of Australia, travelling to innovative sustainability projects along the way and blogging about them as I go. It's a search for good-news-stories; to get inspired and hopefully inspire others. You can read the full story on the website here: http://pedallingforwards.com I broke the rim of my back wheel coming over the Snowy Mountains. I managed to hobble in to Canberra, but I’ll need to get it replaced. The problem is that it’s a pretty non-standard wheel. I’ll need to find a 27inch road bike wheel rim, preferably double-walled with 36 spoke holes and reinforced eyelets. I’ll then use my existing hub and spokes and get a super-strong wheel built. If any of your bike contacts can help me with this, that would be incredible. This will likely mean I’ll have to stay longer in Canberra while I get all this sorted, so if any of them are able to host a weary bike traveller, I would be doubly grateful. Note: I’m reasonably clean and very good at washing dishes. Thanks again for all your help. Cheers, Nick Taylor 0411442881 pedallingforwards.com

01.01.2022 This is a record of our little successes, trials and tribulations in our endeavour to make no bikes grate again.
