25.01.2022 URGENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE Due to covid for us to have the Bunnings BBQ fundraiser we NEED more than normal amount of helpers. We need 5 more volunteers to cook sausages for 1 hour from 12. Time slots are 12-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4. Please comment below you name and team to Help us raise money to pay for the girls end of year.

24.01.2022 Gradings for Cadet level (11 to 17 year old) born 2004 - 2010 will be held on: Thursday 11 February and 18 February. 5:30pm arrival to be given your number. Warm up will commence at 5:45pm. Gradings will commence at 6pm.... Gradings is compulsory for all cadet level players. Venue: Underwood Park Netball Association. Dress: Uniform is not required. Bike pants/leggings and t-shirt/singlet. Teams will be announced by email once the Grading Committee has finalised the teams. 21.01.2022 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE FOLLOWING ALL COVID REQUIREMENTS... The latest Approved Industry Plans restricts access to anyone who has: *COVID-19 or has been in direct contact with a known case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days (anyone who attends Parkland Christian College or Chatswood Hills OSHC are not to attend netball)... *Flu-like symptoms or who is a high health risk (e.g. due to age or pre-existing conditions) *Travelled internationally *Travelled to a Covid declared hotspot. REMINDER: *Training sessions: please keep your session to your assigned court space and do not mix with other training groups (new to the recent breakouts) *No water bottle refills. *Hand sanitising on entry and exit is mandatory. *Check in with the attendance record sheet at each court. *Post pad and ball cleaning is mandatory. *Collect game day balls from the Office before your game. *Maintain social distancing off the court *No hugging or high fives around the courts *1.5m apart Public Health Unit (PHU) Officers may be visiting Clubs and Associations to audit COVID-19 Safety practices, this is to ensure we have the correct processes in place should an outbreak occur. Biggest thing is if we are required to provide attendance sheets for contact tracing must produce within 1 hour - so it is really important we are receiving everyones attendance sheets after training Good luck to all our teams tomorrow.

17.01.2022 URGENT UPDATE As a consequence of a positive COVID test in Logan, Players or staff who attend the Parklands school or those who have been in close contact with ...someone attending the school are NOT TO ATTEND NETBALL ACTIVITIES AT ANY OTHER CLUB until further notice. UPDATE If youre have visited these shopping centres, you are still allowed to attend training and games. HOWEVER if you are feeling unwell, or have had direct contact with someone with a confirmed case, you MUST stay away Upna reminds all those involved with the game of the following important points: All clubs must ensure they are meeting contact tracing and attendance tracking requirements through the use of the sign on sheets in place or QR code reporting system provided by NQ. Please do not attend netball activities if you feel unwell. If you attend netball activities when unwell, it puts other members of the community at risk as well as the future netball season. Follow directives from the Chief Health Officer and Queensland Health, especially those that may have been in close contact with someone from Parklands Christian College. If you feel unwell and have flu-like symptoms, please get tested as soon as possible.

14.01.2022 END OF YEAR FUNCTION TOMORROW We are looking forward to celebrating with you all... Where: Sandstorm - 590 Mains Road Nathan (Behind Nissan Arena)... Carparking - is free and accessible from Carpark A off Mains Rd. On entry - everyone will need to scan a QR code and enter their details to be aligned with their COVID Safety plan. Arrival 4:30pm, Presentations start at 5pm and dinner will be available from 6:30pm. Parents can purchase burgers/chips and salad for dinner or bring your own. Wear appropriate attire to have a game of beach touch or tug o war Feel free to bring a picnic blanket or chair to sit on the grassed hill.

09.01.2022 LAST CHANCE FOR JACKET TRY ONS - Deb is going to be at the Courts on Thursday 16 July from 5pm for anyone wanting to try on a jacket or order a jacket. Deb was there last week, but due to the rain a lot of teams didn't train. This will be the last day to order a jacket as Deb will be placing the order on Friday.

06.01.2022 It was great to finally see the 2020 season start. A big welcome to our littlest club members the Sweetpeas who had a great game for their first time on court.

06.01.2022 Just a reminder that today is the last day to sign on to DHNC before trials on Thursday 11th February and payments MUST be done via Netball Connect - payments will not be turned off today. Also only chance to try on uniforms, orders will be placed next week. Look forward to seeing you all down at the courts starting from 9am. ALSO - New player registrations are required to present a birth certificate to a committee member for age verification.

04.01.2022 Debbie Battaglene-Sharpe (Uniform Convenor) will be at UPNA on Thursday 9 July from 5pm for anyone that would like to try on and order a jacket. Full payment is required at the time of ordering via direct debit to the Daisy Hill Bank Account. We will not be able to accept cash. If anyone has ordered a jacket without trying one on, it would be good for those people to see Deb to try on a jacket to check they have ordered the correct size.
