25.01.2022 I won’t lie, I’ve taken a break from regimented training for the last 3 weeks . There has been a multitude of factors that I have felt required me to limit my training and it’s okay . A small part of me was beating myself up a bit for this, yet another part of me who may be wiser knows that giving myself this time was the right path... . I’ve seen a pattern of overwhelm in the past when I add too many little jobs and expectations to my life it leads to moments of breakdown/shutdown . Whether it’s a mindset or not, I’ve noticed another pattern . Combining the right amount of work with the right amount of rest while considering the whole of my human needs; physiologically, spiritually, emotionally leads to breakthroughs . Yesterday for me represented a breakthrough and I’ve had so much help to get here .
