25.01.2022 CLOSED UNDER FURTHER NOTICE Following the government’s latest recommendations, we will temporarily close. The safety of our customers and team members is our highest priority. We take the current situation with COVID-19 very seriously. We will continue to follow guidance from the government, and will be keeping you up to date with when we expect to be back up and running. Customers can continue to monitor our website and social media channels for more information on when we open again.

21.01.2022 We are pleased to announce we will be reopening on Monday 22nd of June. However in line with government restrictions, we have a max capacity of 20 people. Please call to book, walk-ins may be turned away if we do not have enough space. Temperature checks and personal details are needed for each person. Lastly, we prefer a card payment when possible. Hope to see you these school holidays!

18.01.2022 We’ve added automatic social distancing to all our laser tag packs! Packs can now automatically detect and enforce social distancing rules in-game. Players can feel safe and have a great time without having to worry about trying to keep an eye on where everyone is! The system will automatically alert players who come too close to each other, indicated on the phaser screens and with audio warnings.

15.01.2022 After twenty plus years Darkzone has made the difficult decision to close its flagship Box Hill store at the end of its current lease in January 2021. Although ongoing Covid restrictions have made life very difficult for all small businesses in Melbourne, this move was already expected due to a number of other issues: limited space, changing planning provisions of the local area, and the difficulty of working under strict heritage overlay protections among them. Negotiations ...are underway for Darkzone’s re-opening in an alternative Melbourne venue, and more information on this will be shared as details are finalised. We thank all the customers who have shown us support over the years. We are extremely grateful that we were able to supply the public with laughter and joy. We appreciate every customer who visited us and hope one day soon we will re-open to bring you joy again.
