Picture perfect markings and a great character. Annabel has laid a claim to this one already (it’s ok... I told her to back off !).

18.01.2022 It’s rewarding moments like these that keep me inspired to breed dressage horses. Stanford DS (Stedinger x Harvard) is a super example of what I’m aiming to produce. I can’t wait to see his little sibling by Toto Nation de Jeu when it arrives next month! Stanford DS is now owned by @jacqueline.y.pearce and in training with us. He’ll commence his competition career very soon!

18.01.2022 Training Tip: When training a dressage horse, irrespective of age and level, I always ensure I have a good forward and back response from my aids and have adequate shoulder and hind limb control. Using a combination of transitions, forward and back and turning, we can perform just about any movement in the Grand Prix.

17.01.2022 Whilst they can't replace a traditional lesson, virtual lessons are the next best thing to help keep on top of your training during Lockdown 2.0. But HOW DO THEY WORK?? To successfully conduct a virtual lesson you will need;... * A Zoom, WhatsApp or Messenger account. * Someone to video you (or a Pixio/Pixem type product). * Good quality internet. * Bluetooth headphones with a good range or a separate phone that you can carry with headphones connected. 16.01.2022 Our responsibility as riders first and foremost is to be a good horse person, and after this is achieved we can commit to developing ourselves in our chosen discipline. Being a good horse person requires you to understand what your horse needs, how it’s thinking, the ability to read triggers, know their limits, and know how to best communicate in any given situation.

15.01.2022 Training insight: All the horses in my stable have a routine that involves lunging, rides in the paddock (sometimes over cavalettis), fitness rides on hard ground and of course schooling sessions in the arena. It’s imperative the horses are worked outside the arena a couple of times each week, not only for their physical fitness, but also their mental stimulation.... With a large number of young horses at my stables this is what a typical week for them would look like.

03.01.2022 Ster Prok is one of the most elite titles a Dutch mare can receive. Our broodmare Axieni impressed at her mare testing as a 3yo with her extravagant gaits and wonderfully strong type. She’s by Rousseau who is a highly regarded son of Ferro. Rousseau has sired around 20 Grand Prix horses including Olympian Blue Hors Zack and the impressive Fiorano. On her Dam side is Krack C,another hugely notable stallion. The sire of Vivaldi and the son of Flemmingh! Krack C was an inte...rnational star under Anky Van Grunsven and has a family inundated with Grand Prix competitors. He has over 30 registered Grand Prix offspring and over 60 at Prix St Georges.
