21.01.2022 My name is Mareene Aitken - organiser of the WA CRAFT Show & the WA WOOD Show. Our 2020 shows were planned for July 31, August 1 & 2. 2020. We have decided to ...cancel our 2020 shows and come back with enthusiasm and fun in 2021. Our amazing Exhibitors are small busineses who will need all the help and support that the we can offer throughout this difficult time. May I encourage you to stay connected to our wonderful exhibitors and buy your supplies from them. Many offer delivery or of course online sales. So from all of us involved in the WA CRAFT Show and the WA WOOD Show, we send our very best wishes to all craft lovers.

11.01.2022 Ladies From The Land Australia have decided to run another quilt drive. We were able to complete 150 quilts in March 2019 (checkout our Facebook album 2019 Qui...lt Drive to see the finished products). I feel so much for the people who have lost loved ones and all their possessions in the NSW/QLD fires. Even if we can just get a few quilts, any help would be fantastic. If you cant commit to making a full quilt, maybe you could join forces with friends or a group, to get one made up. We will deliver the quilts in the coming months. We are looking for... budding or established designers who would be willing to have their work choreographed down the runway! Do you crochet? Knit? Felt? Sew? Patchwork? Embroider? Upcycle? 04.01.2022 Well what a HUGE year 2018 was but to be honest, Im glad to see the back of it!! Am I still quilting - yes and really have been VERY busy in that area. I continue to meet some amazing people from the quilting world and have been blessed to be apart of their quilts. I have worked on quilts made from 100 year old lace and quilts from new, straight off the bolt latest designs. Last year I said good bye to a couple of quilters and was apart of birth quilts for the next generation quilters! Yes I am still working!

04.01.2022 I just saw this - please remember .... "Isnt it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" So I guess sometimes you need to step back and take the time to be proud of the work you have done. P.S. there are faeries and wee folk at the bottom of my garden but they probably hiding from the dog!!!
