25.01.2022 Had a great day packng up a lovely client for her move tomorrow. This is our 4th pack up together. Now to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary at Southbank

23.01.2022 This is my most recent job preparing this home for sale. Open house this Saturday, beautiful home

23.01.2022 Had a fun day with my lovely client working on her wardrobe to cull and reorganise. Then in the office we worked on culling books and records and will rearrange the book cases, eliminating the single bookcase. The work is all in progress so here are some photos. As my client had to go out half way through the day we started multiple jobs so I could work on it while she was out.

23.01.2022 Another 7 hours of paperwork sorting, shredding and organising, with 5 xL garbage bags of culled and shredded papers. One more small container left to shred as the shredder overheats after a while. Plus one more small container of paperwork to sort. Today I found substantial lost superannuation, unnecessary billing of doubled up insurances and worked out a paper trail of insurances and super starting from 1983 through a maize of different company names, take overs and roll overs. Very interesting

22.01.2022 Some more decluttering and organising with my lovely client. She decided she didnt need all these books and could do away with 1 book case to make way for an air conditioner on the wall in its place. This room gets very hot so it makes it too uncomfortable some days to use.

21.01.2022 After a much needed week break over Easter I started back on Friday packing up a lovely client that we packed up a year ago in Brisbane. We packed over 40 boxes in 5 1/2 hours. Then went and stayed in a lovely AirBNB in Eumundi in a train carriage

21.01.2022 Some of the areas that Ive worked on with my lovely client over the past 5 weeks. We are getting closer to seeing the end result. Getting another trailer in tomorrow to clear out more surplus items and to get all the books etc off to charity as this unit is 2 stories high.

17.01.2022 Sorted through the videos, dvds and cds and culled the excess with my lovely client. Cds went down to the office with the others and the dvds and bits and bobs went back into the draws.

17.01.2022 Enjoying a week on the Gold Coast with hubby as our bathroom is being renovated at home. Have had some huge weeks of work leading up to going away and will post some jobs next week after a well deserved break.

17.01.2022 Had a lovely day working with my lovely new clients preparing their home for sale. There were 3 large bags culled for charity and the wardrobe has been set up with like items together set up from light to dark in each category. This helps your eye to flow through the wardrobe instead of going back and forth with light and dark colours all in together. This creates extra appeal as the wardrobe and feels like there is a good amount of room instead of wondering if youll fit all of your clothes in as a perspective buyer.

14.01.2022 Had a full 8 hour day with my lovely client today sorting cds, dvds, ornamental plates and more. All old magazines, videos, cassettes and more went in the trailer to the tip. Culled cds, dvds, books etc went as a ute load to charity. Will go back in a few weeks for some fine tuning but the bulk of the work is done now. Next visit homes will be found for cds and dvds and a few more sets of draws beside the lounge chair sorted.

14.01.2022 This is the Bokashi Kitchen Composting System Im trying out to use up my kitchen scraps and make some organic fertiliser for our vegetable and herb garden we are setting up. Ill post some pictures of our progress with setting up and growing this garden. Stay tuned Ive been filling the clear container with my kitchen vegetable scraps, egg shells, tea bags and meat and bone scraps from the fridge. Once my container has been mostly filled I put it in the Bokashi container,... spray a few squirts of bicrobal spray over the top of the scraps, then about 1-11/2 cups of Bokashi Mix like sawdust to cover scraps and put the sieve on top and press it all down. Repeat until container is full. As the scraps break down a liquid can be released through the tap at the bottom., this becomes a liquid fertiliser for the garden. This is not a sponsored post this is something I have previously purchased and now have time to use it and learn about the process and thought you might be interested in following the process Ive tried outdoor composting years ago and struggled with the time, smell and labour intensive process. 12.01.2022 Finally got to go back to do some more decluttering and organising of the cds and dvds with my lovely client. All cds went into the brown bookcase that was moved over to the cupboards on the other side. Waiting on a new tv cabinet to finish of lounge room.

11.01.2022 Sorted through bags with my lovely client of clothes, shoes, belts, cosmetics today as too much was kept in previous culling to fit in new unit. Cupboard cleared out with lots of bags of rubbish and lots more charity goods went out.

11.01.2022 Need an aircon cleaning with the warm weather creeping up? My son Zachary Donaldson from Expert Air Con Clean is running a generous competition to celebrate 2 years in business.

10.01.2022 More progress in the lounge room today after 61/2 hours of working together with my lovely client. All cds sorted and culled today as she doesnt use digital music. All old videos and cassettes, old magazines, old stereo system, book shelves and plastic draw sets all out for the top. Boxes and boxes of books and cds ready for the charity shop.

09.01.2022 Here are some gardening ideas I am working on in my spare time. What are you doing with your spare time? We are still up and running for emergency jobs for people having to sell and prepare their homes for sale, or packing, unpacking and setting up new premises. General decluttering in most cases can wait as we all practice our social distancing. Social distancing and hygiene measures are all in place.

08.01.2022 Lots of goods for charity from organising with my lovely client. We worked on the walk in robe today and had to clear out the pantry and other places for floors to be pulled up and renovations to start Monday week.

08.01.2022 Wardrobe organising with my lovely client setting up her clothes and accessories to combine clothes from spare room to all fit in her walk in robe and draws that once lived in her spare room.

05.01.2022 Heres some picks from more of my work at Redcliffe with my lovely client, clearing out section by section. I actually worked today with my lovely client at Coorparoo and was finally allowed into her bedroom to work away. Previously the goods were brought out from the bedroom to go through, but today I was privileged to be able to work in the bedroom. No photos available for today.

05.01.2022 So today after 9 hours working with my lovely client we found the lounge room and chairs that had been buried for years. 2 cupboards, 2 lounge chairs a big old tv and rubbish on the verandah as well as loads of other rubbish from the lounge room filled a 4 x 7 trailer with a high cage to overflowing. See the pics for an explanation as the room evolves. Then a super full car load for charity. Had a local fellow take the rubbish down 2 stories and away.

05.01.2022 Loads of paperwork dating back to the 1980s onwards that needed checking before shredding. 2 x XL garbage bags of shredding done and 100s of envelopes to go. Back again next week.

04.01.2022 Had another great day with my lovely client doing more of the organising side. The 2 older plastic draws and stuff on top of them is now in 3 draws with a nice clear space. Lots of paperwork sorted through to check for any important papers before shredding. Draws of sorted papers, a large garbage bag of recycling papers, as well as a bag for charity.

02.01.2022 Even as a Professional Organiser things can go wrong New oven fitted on the 4th March, error codes, electrician arrived yesterday afternoon with the news that parts will take a week and hell be back next Thursday to fix it . With 2 full turkey breasts in the fridge thawing ready for my sons birthday celebrations tonight and the whole family coming for dinner. What does one do? Well we went back to where we purchased it and to cut a long story short they replaced our oven. I picked it up from Everton Park and bought home to Kippa-Ring, had my electrician fit, cook off chemicals for an hour and finally cook our turkey and roast veggies

02.01.2022 Worked on these areas decluttering today and clearing out last of stuff leading up to floors and other renovations coming up soon. 2 bags of rubbish and 3 large bags for charity.
