25.01.2022 Today I made a present for my wife. No special occasion, just sometimes your wife deserves a present. I have one more of these in stock ready to cover in the fabric of your choice. Send me a message and we can run through all the details to make one of these chairs for you.

25.01.2022 I made these moose cushions for our good friend for her birthday. I hope you love them Donna Jones.

24.01.2022 A very busy day in the workshop today. Ive finished this beautiful chair in Warwick fabric.

23.01.2022 The "Rat Bomb" is finished. Done in lobster red and looking ever so nice.

23.01.2022 These are some bike seats I did last year. They were for a Custom Harley. One seat for one person and the the other for two.

22.01.2022 A sneak peek at a Buick that I'm currently doing. Will post more pics when it's finished. Hopefully when it's finished, it'll be jumping on a boat and skipping over to N.Z.

22.01.2022 Some other recently re upholstered items. The brown chair was part of a three piece suite including two chairs and a three seat lounge and was completely stripped back to a bare frame with all new flock and fibre and several frame repairs (the proper traditional way). The blue chairs had a quick recover and were re covered in a Warwick fabric.

20.01.2022 Happy new year to everyone out there. 2017 is going to be a great year!! I hope everyone brought in the new year in a good way. Take care and make this the best year ever.

18.01.2022 Motorcycle and pillion seat all repaired and reupholstered.

17.01.2022 Had a "HOOT" making this vision last night. Sewn in owl with a border and some nice diamond stitching on the back. I get a real kick out of doing funny little custom jobs like this.

16.01.2022 I recently completed this lounge. It started off as something off the side of the road. When it was all stripped down I noticed it was a full hard wood frame that was in excellent condition. Furniture like this is why I love my job. The new owner of the lounge was kind enough to let me have full artistic license on it and I think it turned out beautiful. The fabric used was Warwick flowerbomb in colour frost with a contrast Warwick velvet piping. I also custom made a footstool to go with it. Kat Love Scarlet, I hope you love it as much as I loved creating it.

16.01.2022 Here is a seat and footstool I did recently for someone. It was in a sad state beforehand. Nothing that a complete strip down, repolish and fully reupholster cant fix.

16.01.2022 From something quite plain to something quite special for a lovely customer. Some help along the way from @davovoodoo_horihige I think weve nailed it. #upholstery#huonvalley #recover#handmade#deepsouth #geeveston

15.01.2022 New logos for the new name. Kindly designed by the amazing @oldskoolonly_garage . Thanks Paulie

15.01.2022 Look at this lovely pelmet I did today. Very nice fabric. To go over the tops of matching curtains by The Bonded Blind Company. If you want their contact details, send me a message and I can put you in touch with them.

14.01.2022 An XP panel van done just before Christmas. A joint work with Michael Murphy from Early bird restorations. The man is a genius when it comes to early Falcons and an absolute perfectionist

13.01.2022 Ive finished off the week with what was a really badly damaged quad bike seat. New foam all shaped up like original and a nice new UV stabilised vinyl to cover it.

11.01.2022 A seat that I customised recently was given another overhaul today to make riding position more comfortable for the customer. I also threw in a bit of custom diamond pattern stitching just to throw back to the classic Motoguzzi styling. The first photo is of the last customising the second is the original style and the rest of its newest incarnation.

08.01.2022 Here is the chair delivered to the Amazing Hair by Tommy J. #Tommyj #barberlife #brettsupholstery

08.01.2022 Started on these bad boys today for a commer van. To the blasters tomorrow to clean the frames up and repaint them. These are going to look pretty cool when they're done.

08.01.2022 Time for an update on this 3 seater lounge. It is going to be done in Warwick fabrics Matrix Charcoal to bring it up to 2018. A really nice fabric to work with and has an interwoven stain protection.

07.01.2022 Sunday view from the workshop.

06.01.2022 Cushions, cushions, everywhere!!! Blue canvas with contrast piping. Off to be delivered to another happy customer this morning.

05.01.2022 After a bit of a wait I finished these bad boys last night. A big difference to the original seats. They're going in to a commer van that is a bit of a rat. I think the owner might have to spruce it up a bit to match these.

04.01.2022 From hard rubbish to super fancy. This chair came in from a customer who had picked it up from the rubbish pile. We got stuck in to it and stripped and repainted all of the metal parts and re did all of the upholstery to make something as comfy as an office chair can be.

03.01.2022 Made up a custom armrest for a car today. Toyota charges nearly $1800 for an armrest for this particular car which is ridiculous. Hope you like it.

03.01.2022 I’ve finished off the week with what was a really badly damaged quad bike seat. New foam all shaped up like original and a nice new UV stabilised vinyl to cover it.

02.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Very soon there are going to be some big changes to Brett Lund Upholstery including a new name and other things. I'm also after a bit of input into what you would like to see on this page and what you would like to see on it. I'm really excited about this big change and hope that you can all help me steer it in the right direction. Please share it with your friends and get their suggestions too. I want to make it good for all.... Oh I almost forgot, I am going to do a small giveaway to celebrate all of the new changes. Keep an eye out for it.

02.01.2022 A bike seat for a peewee 50. I really hope they like it.

02.01.2022 Its been a while between posts. Ive been playing around with some really nice retro furniture lately. Here is my latest creation. It is available for sale. Its done in a nice velvet on the base and the back is in a colour called gasoline. I love it and hope you do too. For more info, send me a message. This is part of my New Years thing also. 2018 is the year of my #waragainstbeige

02.01.2022 Got some really nice dining chairs finished this morning. Fully re-webbed and re-foamed. Ready for another 20 years of service. Also a quick re-polish just to make them shine like a diamond.

01.01.2022 Another little restoration for a beautiful piece of furniture. Im just about ready to get going full time now with a new business name. The new name will be Deep South Upholstery.

01.01.2022 I thought I should share this one as it's been a while since I have and it could be some time before I post things again. I've started work with Hobart Interior...s as one of their upholsterers and loving working there. The team are super professional and extremely talented. The last one of my jobs for now was a challenge but an absolute pleasure. It's for a man that I consider family. Davo, I hope you love your stool. It's a good addition to your garage and will service you for years to come. See more
